    An improvement over RF4 in many ways but hampered by the Switch hardware so expect a pretty janky framerate. Also, if the translators and developers are going to be inclusive, more thought need to go into it. For example, White Day is redundant because of the removed gender restrictions on dating so its like having Valentine's twice in the same month which is good for romancing folks but immersion breaking. Also, none of the marriage candidates use the terms husband, wife, or even spouse (which isn't gender-specific). Partner is the most uber-generic and non-romantic way you can refer to your significant other. I know why the translators picked it but spouse would have been nicer and less immersion breaking. So for me, this game is good but places below RF4 in the romance department.

    A good entry into a great series, Rune Factory 5 introduces some new mechanics and improves will features in some areas while suffering ffom the power limitations and technical limitations of the Switch as well as its own ambitions.

    If you are a fan of the rune factory games then you’ll like this one even better. The battle fights are great. The farming system to me is easier than the previous games. It’s another love letter type game to Harvest Moon

    Everything amazing expected from a Rune Factory game brought down by Switch's outdated hardware. Playable but I would get the PC version.

    It's a great price for the amount of stuff that you get. The cool art book alone is worth the difference in price between regular and Earthmate, and the other goodies are just extra bonuses.

    It was sold out everywhere and only sold through third parties on Amazon but thank the gods Best Buy was carrying it and I purchased this immediately without hesitation. Much appreciated.

    Overall I do like the game so far! Its pretty cute and simple and I like how you can marry a bachelor or bachelorette! Never played a rune factory game before but im pleased!

    A decent entry in the Rune Factory Series. It's a fun game, but the frame rate really kills the enjoyment.

    This is the best Rune Factory, and I’ve played them all. Do not hesitate if you’ve ever enjoyed the series! The 3D performance is just fine.
