If you have never had a drone before and want to start off, this is the drone for you. This drone can go up to 100 feet in the air and take a photo or video. I have some beautiful pics of the sunset. Very small drone, each battery has 15 min life (based on my experience).

For an experienced UAV pilot this little drone is a blast! I purchased one for my Son but after testing it out I decided to keep it get my Son another one, except this time it was the Iron Man Edition (he absolutely loves it). Flying these indoors is great as long as there is adequate lighting as it uses a downward facing camera to stabilize. I love the fact that if the drone detects a collision it immediately shuts-down the motors and just falls to the floor instead of shredding whatever it runs into (or it's own props). Average 12 min fly time is great for such a tiny battery. It even does quite well outdoors in light wind (not so good in strong wind). Check out YouTube for reviews and how-to's.

Bought this for my dad. My Iphone had no issue connecting to it with the app but on his android the app kept freezing mid flight. Flies very stable, can do a few tricks that look awesome. Comes with batteries which is nice. There is a controller you can buy separately. Wish it came with it is my only negative.

This is my first drone and it is great so far, I flew it inside and outside the house. The app is easy to use, slow when connecting to wi-fi but when it is connected, the fun begins. the The app is easy to use, the camera is decent for 720. The package include 3 batteries give plenty of fly times. I would recommend this drone for anyone who wants to start practicing droning.

My last review on this item was written a few days ago, buuuuuuuuuut now after figuring things out at home how to get this thing going, after reading many negative reviews thinking it was going back to its cell block, my review on this has totally changed. This is actually my first purchase on an advanced model drone, especially a miniature one like this. Was looking at the high cost model ones but wanted to get my experience first, just like a new car. To my amazement downloaded the app to my IPOD Touch 6th gen and it works amazing. Video quality at 720p it's ok and the pics too. Really loved my first 30minutes of flight time with the 3 batteries that came along with it. Will look into additional batteries and perhaps a remote too since it wasn't included with the item. Gotta tell you i really love it, and think that i'll keep it since it works with the ipod.

I purchased this drone over the other ones because of the great reviews, but really had my eyes on a different drone. Boy am I glad I got this one. VERY fun, the camera is excellent. I love the extra batteries you get with it because you can use the drone for an extended amount of time while the 'dead' batteries are recharging. Endless play. I especially love how easy it is to fly because of how stable it is. That is what impresses me the most

So far so good. This is a great beginner drone. It is pretty easy to use and stays in one place as it hovers. Other drones I have had float all over the place. I also like the STEM apps you can find that allow you to program what the drone does, take off, go 3 ft forward, turn around and land, etc. I also like how it is small enough to fly inside. Requires a smartphone that connects to the wifi on the drone. If you have an IOS device you can use a PS4 controller connected to the IOS device to control the drone.

Amazing quality and stability, battery time. Can use with phone or certain game controllers. I have 4 other copters and drones all under $250. Nothing comes close to the stability, agility and camera quality and then the biggest advantage is the price. The price point compared to the value is what blew me away after a few hours of flying indoors and out. No question this is the best Quad under $500 let alone $149 for the whole kit with extra batteries. Great beginner drone due to its stability and control. Don't bother shopping for any other drone.

Great drone very easy to use. It is a little light so I would not use it out does in any type of breeze.

I understand, with a little help from his father, my grandson who is 11 yrs of age was able to master flying this drone, and has had time operating it. It is simple enough for him to enjoy it. Good purchase for Christmas gift!

Nice for the price. Really compact, takes decent video for the price. Very easy to fly. Hovers in place nicely. And has several flight modes built in. Just don’t fly it in windy conditions, as the wind will take it if your not paying attention.

It’s a great learner drone. Doesn’t do too good above 20 ft but it’s great for getting used to flying a drone short distances.

Best. Gift. Ever. This drone MADE Christmas. The batteries last forever. Sure, 1.5 hours for recharge seems like a long time but you get lots of fly time. Our last drone lasted 8 minutes. The video quality is impressive for a drone of this price range. Excellent choice for a “cheaper” drone.

I’m honestly surprised at how technology has advanced for $100 you can buy this drone without all the extras and the camera is pretty good. As stable as my $1,000 drone. Very cool and fun things you can do with it. Such as flying without a remote or a phone. One battery lasts a decent amount of time. 3 batteries are more then enough.

This drone has the leading drone company Teck inside. It is very stable outside and with proper lighting inside as well. The camera is like your selfie camera on your smartphone. So it does good. It can do video and take pics. It flys by your phone through WiFi. It has a decent distance but not like it’s bigger brothers.

Purchased for my children, it connected easily to both apple and Samsung tablets. Charged batteries, connected to tablets and they were flying in minutes. It’s quick, stable (heavy winds not so much), does tricks and the video/ pictures are decent. Definitely get the combo pack with extra batteries.

This drone would not stay calibrated for more than one flight at a time and we were unable to calibrate it more often than not. The battery life was better than most when it was functioning and the camera is clear, but we returned this item because of the calibration issues.

This was a gift for my son (11 years). He has had a blast using it. This drone is easy to use for him and he loves programming it to do tricks as well as free flight with his phone. Great product!

This little guy is pretty amazing and fun to play with. Camera is awesome, keeps the picture super steady even when you flip it upside down. App works great to fly it, even tho I personally crash it every time. Hasn’t broke yet. Not recommended outside when windy.

This is the second Ryze Tello drone I have purchased. The first was for myself, this one a Christmas gift. The Tello is a 'toy' drone but unlike most toy drones, this one will last. It's easy to fly, does a few 'stunts' and can be flown indoors or outdoors. Flying indoors, it needs to be well lit as the Tello uses VPS (visual positioning system). Outdoors, daylight only with nothing more than a light breeze. This drone is very lightweight so any substantial wind will blow it off course. Definitely worth the money and highly recommended for an introduction to the drone world.
