This drone has great picture and some easy to understand controls. The only issue I had is it does not have great range and it starts controlling itself after a certain distance away.

Nice build and it can be easily controlled with the app in the cellphone. Pictures are ok. The only negative is that the battery drain quickly. Really nice for kids and my son love it

This is the first drone I've purchased. I'm really impressed with it, considering I have no prior experience flying a drone. I actually bought it for my 7 year old grandson, but I've flown it several times. It seems to be pretty responsive to the app controller. Did loose Wi-Fi connection a couple of times but that was using an open-source app. Speaking of the app. I took off one star because Ryze did not have an android app (at least at the time I purchased). Wasn't too difficult to fly. Actually my 7 year old grandson was flying it better than I was after just 5 minutes or so. All-in-all I think it is a great, fun drone with a decent camera. Just wish they had an app for android devices. Was able to use my wife's ipad.

Easy to fly and fun to use! Great value for the cost

Given as a gift. While I recommended reviewing one of the YouTube videos (still think a good idea). My daughter was able to fly immediately with minimal trial and error. Very stable and takes nice pictures. Well worth the cost for a starter. I would definitely invest in the combo package that includes the 3 batteries, charger and extra blades. Well worth it.

This drone is perfect for what it is: a toy for beginners to get comfortable flying a drone. It works excellent inside, and if there is no wind outside you can do stuff within visual range. If you look up how to extend the range with a cheap wifi extender you can even get it pretty high up. The downside is the camera is absolute trash. So don’t use this thing thinking you are going to take great photos or video. Use it to wrap your head and fingers around piloting a drone and then jump up to a Mini 2 or Air 2S if you want photos, or a DJI FPV if you want pure speed and control.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband...He loved it. Having never used a drone before, I wanted to make sure it wouldn't be too complicated. No extra pogramming, easy to use inside and outside, and doesn't fall apart when he runs into the wall. Great for first timers, and you can't beat the price for everything you get...definitely recommend : )

This little drone can really teach you how to fly any drone, its very easy to use and learn and the price is just right. I love this model because it comes with 3 batteries to make your fly time more enjoyable.

I got this as a gift for someone. He never used a drone before. He took it right out of the box and had it flying around in minutes. He loves it. Easy to navigate, small enough to go anywhere.

Flies great. As other reviewers have said, the battery life is short, but having extra batteries is a huge bonus. I wouldn't buy it without the extra batteries. The camera is good & it was pretty easy to learn how to fly. This is a great starter drone.

It was a great little drone while it lasted. Warning do not use at night or with any wind at night outside. Or it will end up in a tree. Great beginner drone takes good pictures and easy to learn

The price is great and the drone is a lot of fun to fly. The video and picture quality is very good for the price paid for this drone. I have bought four of these as they make for great gifts.

OK so it is not the biggest, fastest or best drone out there but if you want a stable drone that is a great starter drone AND you can fly it indoors then this is a good one to start the process. Don't bother with those cheap tiny drones. For the money this is a good buy. You can't fly it in windy conditions without potential loss.

If you have never flown a drone before or just want something to entertain you indoors when it's too yucky outside then look no farther. This little drone keeps being fun day after day! Indoor/outdoor photo quality is surprisingly good provided you have enough light. Battery life is average for small drones of this type and extras are inexpensive enough to have several. This bundle come with 3 total included + a charger. Also included in this bundle is a totally enclosed cage for use instead of the OEM prop guards. This is heavier and goes through batteries a little faster but is awesome if flying indoors. This drone can be controlled by way of an app on your smartphone but is much better if you buy a gamesir T1D controller. The only downside I see is after playing with this for a bit you will have an irresistible urge to spend more money on bigger/better drones.

For a first drone invest the money by a Mavic mini. sunfortunately for me I’m just not able to accurately fly this drone ,compared to flying my Mavic mini if I was to purchase another drone I think I Would save up For the Mavic mini where it comes with a controller and the tallo Or you would have to purchase a controller in depending on what type of controller you purchase he may be spending almost the same amount of money. After seeing this it is what it is for the amount of money I would recommend it for a friend if they understood what the drone was for what they’re paying for.

Bought the $99 Sale for the Boost Combo. Great Deal! I have been flying a Phantom 4 for three years and also own a Mavic Pro and a Spark. I was really surprised by this little guy. Indoors it is very stable and actually flies pretty well. I have only flown indoors and mainly just to keep my flying skills in tact over the winter months. Really the biggest drawback is the fixed camera, other than that this is a legit little camera drone for novice pilots or experienced pilots to hone their skills indoors.

There are no downsides to this drone as a starter unit, except possibly battery life. You will want those extra batteries and therefore the three battery charger. Try to get the kit that comes with all this instead of just the drone itself. The software app is great, connects to a local WiFi created by the drone itself (meaning you will not have other internet connectivity while using it), and has a bunch of nifty features such as various canned maneuvers, fast and slow mode, still shots and videos. It even works with google cardboard for a mild VR experience which is quite effective. It also works with Bluetooth joysticks which is much better for control. For around $90 it is an amazing way to get started to see if you really like drones before spending more serious money. You will love looking out the camera at a high altitude. Also, for kids it is less intimidating and less dangerous. Crashing this drone many times has not damaged it at all, and it does come with a few extra propellers. P.s. there may be an “educational” version of this which has more features, but I am unsure.

A great first drone. In between the expensive drons and the toy drones. Very stable takes good pictures, the video could be better though.

I bought this one because of the size. I've checked others out and this one was ideal for my usage. It uses optical flow to stabilize the flying and it works beautifully except in low light. I got the boost combo pack so I can have the extra batteries.

Pretty good product for the price. Operations were easy, but connection was the most difficult part. It somehow was not connecting through my phone WIFI and if disconnected, we had to reset the connection and start the whole process again. However, once connected, the operations were easy. Camera quality is really good. Overall, beside the connection issues, I would say that it's a great drone for the price at which it's available. Especially, for first timers.
