A very useful item

I remove the hard drive from my computers before I pass them on (resell or recycle). I used to buy a new case for each drive. With this docking station I don't need other cases. Also, because the drive labels have the size on it I don't need to use a Dymo label to mark the size on the case.

Nice product

All I have to do is to connect the hard drive to the docking station, plug in the cable and power cord, turn it on, and it is recognized by the PC instantly. Please note that this is only for SATA drives. IDE drives will not work with this docking station

Does what its supposed to do

It's pretty simple, just plug the power cord in as well as the usb and then plug your 2.5in or 3.5in HDD or SSD into the SATA port, press the power button and you're good to go (I currently have a 4TB seagate barracuda HDD installed but it supports up to 16 TB I believe possibly even more).

Protects my external drive and keeps dust off it

I have it laying flat on desk behind my PC along with 2 others. I would buy again and recommend it to others who are looking to protect their exposed external hard drives.

Sabrent SATA/SSD Docking Station

Easy to connect to PC computer and a nice, closable lid on device. Should work with SATA I, II, and III. The only problem is you have to use a low profile/needlenose pliars to remove the SSD from the "loaded" position.

It very efficiently did what I purchased it to do. Highly recommended.
