Product was easy to use and allowed me to connect some old drives with IDE connectors where the drives had a separation between the ide connector and the power connector (e.g. A jumper connector between the two connectors.) One older drive in my collection had the ide connector directly next to the power connector and requires another adapted because the ide cable supplied Is wider than the connector and covers one of the power connectors prongs and doesn't allow the connection. All other drives were easy to connect and worked just fine.

Used for both 2.5 & 3.5 hard drives I removed from old computers. I had a little issue connecting my 3.5 western digital drive but after tinkering - I left the drive in CS mode, plugged the Sabrent into an outlet & turned it on. Then I turned on the computer and after that I plugged the Sabrent into the USB on the computer. It finally worked & I was able to access everything. I believe it was a drive setting issue and nothing to do with the actual adapter. The laptop harddrive connected immediately with no issue. The directions aren’t very clear & with the extra adapter pieces it was a bit confusing but the product itself seems good quality. I only needed the usb plugin for the 2.5 & the 3.5 took the wall plugin and usb to work (none of the extra pieces).

Enjoyed that was able To get information transferred from my, my computors.

I wasn't too happy about having to have to plug this into a power outlet to use. I have an all USB cable that works great to clone SSD's and does not require the external power. Still a good choice is you need old school port options.

Works great and did exactly what I needed it to do. No problem even with some old pata ide drives. I only wish it had it had an interface for a 5.25" & 3.5" floppy drive.

This was exactly the tool that I needed for the job(s)! It fits all of the drives I needed to work on and simply makes life easier. A great product!

This kit was exactly the equipment I needed to enable my hard drives after the out-of-date computer became inop.

Needed to the transfer files from a dead computer to my new computer. Watch a demo on you tube and decided I could do it myself. The kit was very easy to use.

Fairly intuitive and easy to use. I was able to pull data off a couple of older IDE drives and a SATA drive. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have one of these at my office and it is the same brand. After the warranty went out on the system the power supply will stop working and you will either need to get a new on or pull one out of an old desktop and rewire it to work. The reader works great though and what the drive supports it will match the speed. I got this one so I would have one in both places with out moving them in case this is why my power supply went bad.
