The store wouldn't use my gift card either as the person running the cash register wouldn't ask for assistance and told me to use online when I went there to use the gift card.

Not what I expected…

I tried the adapter on multiple computers, tried several hard drives and even solid slate drives. The blue light on the SATA adapter lit up, but it did not connect between the devices. I read other reviews in hopes that I wouldn’t get a “dud” like many others did. ***PLEASE GET THIS RIGHT BEFORE PUTTING THIS ON THE MARKET****

really poor device

Don't buy. Typical of Jmicron quality... I bought 7 but today I found out how bad this cable really is NOT even any other 4TB but 1 samsung would work and not labeled on the box.....

Test Part in Store Before Purchasing

Not correct part for my application (which I had made sure to explain to the salesperson before purchasing). By the time I became aware that it would not work, it was too late to return for credit or refund. Very disappointed.

The drive works fine hooked up in the pc but not using this thing.

Not for Linux or Raspberry Pi

Yes, that's kilobytes. Reviews on Amazon made it clear that this actually doesn't work with Linux/Raspberry Pi. Very disappointed with this junk.

I have not had success but might be the fault of the drive and not the connector. It does cconnect readily to drive.
