Don't Purchase This!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product in store, thinking that it could help me empty out some of my hard drives that I don't have attached to my desktop. What a waste of time and money! It's not worth the trip and now the return trip! I attached the USB to my computer and watched as the blue power indicator turned. But once I attached my drives, nothing happened. I tried it on five different drives and not a single one worked. I attached the drives inside of my computer and they worked just fine. I got this just to make it easier to access my extra drives that won't fit in my computer together. Now, I see that was a mistake. Don't get this!

SATA to USB device

I tried different hard drives with it and still showed no signs of life. I then purchased a different SATA to USB and my Hard Drives were working perfectly. Might have just been my luck but I wouldn’t risk buying it from there any more.

Not enough power

This will not work for a hard drive that was removed from a computer. It won’t power up the hard drive since it’s using the USB port.
