    Just what I was looking for. Love the fact that this works perfectly with my MacBook. Love having the option for extra storage using this in conjunction with external drive. Great storing and transferring my photos.

    I used it to clone my 7 year old Win 10 HP Laptop 1 TB Toshiba HD to a 1TB Crucial MX500 SSD and it worked without any issues. Now the laptop boots from the SSD and I use the adapter to connect the Toshiba to the laptop for backups. It works with no issues. Keep in mind that this WILL NOT work on larger 3.5 HDs because they require more power than the USB port can provide.

    The product was well packaged, and it has a very ease of use. I myself grabbed this because of work I had to get from an older hard drive that I had in an older laptop. I had old work files and a lot of music which I saved on this drive, and I need to get it. Perfect tool for the job.

    Works as advertised. I was able to connect a Sata hard drive via USB to my computer in order to copy files from that hard drive. It was really plug and play—no drivers were required. My old computer stopped working and I was able to remove the hard drive, connect it to my new computer via USB with this cable, and copy the files I needed. I would highly recommend this product.

    The adapter worked wonderfully for the project that I was working on. I was trying to use a ssd to have as an external os drive to boot into. The cord allowed me to do this, now able to boot into an external ubuntu os ssd.

    My old PC had an external SATA connector to which I hooked an SSD for my Linux Mint TimeShift data. My new Linux Mint PC only has internal SATA connectors, but several external USB 3.1 connectors. This cable works great, and is as fast, if not faster, than my old external SATA connection.

    I tried to make a short and sweet review but there is a minimum number of characters. Im sure its to prevent bots from leaving fake reviews or something but this is how we got to this point. Anyway here is my very technical review of this cable. Good cable. Easy to use.
