I needed to get some files off a old hard that I just replaced and decided to do it myself. I looked up on the internet an it was recommended that I get an adapter. I followed the instructions, and I was able to retrieve my files!

For the price, you get a nice little cable to access your 2.5" HDD/SSD externally through USB. Decent speeds, blue led to show activity. Works as advertised. ONLY WORKS WITH 2.5". Will not work with 3.5" HDD.

I needed to clone a new SSD drive from an existing SATA drive in my wife's HP laptop and this SATA to USB adapter made this possible and worked perfectly.

It works! It does exactly what it's supposed to do. You hook up the drive and plug in the USB and you can start using it right away to transfer files to and from your computer.

Does it's job, I needed two of these to clone an XBOX Drive over to a SSD and it did it perfectly no problems here. I also used it to connect to my laptop and store some of my games on an old hard drive that I had.

We thought this would work with our old HDD, but it did not supply adequate power to run the device. It should work fine with a solid state drive unit but it did not work with a hard drive. We had to get the Unitek unit that includes a 12 volt 2 amp power connector to spin the HDD.

Works well. No issues. Make sure you get it on sale. Sale price is very good. Regular price is a bit high for what it is. Not super fast, but is fine for most applications.

Although I had only needed it for this one project, it will stay in my arsonal of peripheral devices. Since I do a lot of tech work, I am sure I will need this down the road.

Definitely a good investment! It allowed me to clone my hard drive to a solid state drive before I switched it out. Had no issues at all.

This cable made it so easy to transfer files from my old hard drive to a new and faster ss drive. With the new ss drive my old laptop computer boots up fast and runs better than when it was new.

This cable is very good to work with external hdd and ssd 2.5, but this cable don't working with hdd 3.5 because the power is deficient to run hdd.

I can say that Sabrent is a good and very reliable brand. I just connect my internal ssd into the Sabrent adapter and now I can use the ssd as a portable and the connection to copy items to it, it is very fast!!!!

I am a computer support engineer so I have to deal with adapters all the time. This is one of my favorites! It's low cost and high performance I would recommend to anybody who needs a SATA to USB adapter Great product!!
