Beautiful, but could provide more protection

This is a tough one. This case looks beautiful, feels great, has adequate scratch and abrasion protection, and has a classy expensive look. The finger-strap works great for hand-holding (reason I bought this case), but on the large 13 Pro Max it does not provide enough support to be used as a stand at more than 45 degrees. I do feel that the impact protection could be better. The lips around the camera and front face could be 1-2 mm higher and corners could use more reinforcement. I also feel that impact protection is compromised by the large rivet which allows the finger-strap to move. In a flat, back-first fall, this rivet will be the first thing to hit the ground and that impact will be transmitted to the tiny area under the rivet and (of course) the phone underneath. That said, I am going to keep this case because I love the way it looks and feels, but everyday use will be delegated to a more protective case.

Great case and price. Leather cases are often 40.00 and above. So when I saw this for 29.99 I decided to try it. I love it and the loop for holding acts as a stand.
