Don't be fooled by "hard shell". The outside grip edge and the raised camera bump protection are not nearly so hard has the main back panel, so this case is easy to grip and not particularly prone to moving if you set it down. On the front side, even with a ZAGG screen protector, the edge provides almost a half-millimeter of clearance (i'm eyeballing that), protecting the phone when placed face down, but so subtle you'll hardly notice it in day-to-day use.

No brainer of a purchase to protect your phone. I bought right with my new Samsung phone and it's protected it perfectly. I've dropped my phone a few times and no issues at all. Good protection and I love that it's clear, cause I can carry small art from my kiddos in it. Classy, functional and very protective. Highly recommend it.
