Picked this up not knowing what it would be like. It is like a 2D version of Dark Souls. Highly recommended if you like a challenge. If you are not into challenging games however, then you should probably try before you buy.

One of my favorite side-scrolling action games. Its heavily influenced by Dark Souls and the Metroidvania genre. It's combat is tight and the art design is bleak yet beautiful. I can't believe it was made by just two people.

If you're a Souls fan then this game is an easy recommend. Its the closest any of the imitators have come to nailing the formula, and its fun to mess around with different builds. Only problem is the cheap artwork, but it was made by two people so I can forgive it.

I like the ability to hack and slash mindlessly. This is easily the best game I've ever played. Everything from the art details to the mechanics. I'd highly recommend giving it a try if you like hack and slash games!

Salt and Sanctuary in my opinion would have to be categorized as a love letter to Dark Souls but in side scroller form. It nails that feeling of what makes Souls games great and feels right at home on the Switch.

An outstanding 2D, platformer, rpg. I’ve played it multiple times and never get bored. Co-op makes it even better, but it can only be played on the same console for two player, not online.

I was very skeptical about buying this game but I was very surprised by how fun and addictive this game can get, I would recommend this game to anyone who loves dark souls games or dead cells

Side Scrolling but with Final Fantasy grid upgrading. So take your take the Grind from the start to get the best materials and upgrade your level to do more damages.

Its a good game good controls, great gameplay,. But it really never made me want to return to play it. Nothin kept me interested. To many better games in my opinion to spend my time on. Least for now.

If you're looking for a game to challenge you, this is it. I'm talking Dark Souls difficulty but in a 2d side scroller. What completes the game is the soundtrack, amazing!

I don't have an issue with games ratings and i am glad this was rated M. we probably would of thought it was OK being n the Switch but it is nice to see Nintendo do some game for us adults. Good story and game play

An ugly game with a poor tutorial, this game is only a functional game with competent programming. The story, atmosphere, and mechanics aren't anything but working.

Read about this game and found out they had a physical release it was a no brainer! Pick this up if you can find it if you like souls I mean salts games

Horray! A physical version. And it's for Nintendo Switch. Played on PS4 first. Great mix of Castlevania and Dark Souls.

A lot of these indie games I wait to see if they come to switch before buying on other platforms. Really fun for commutes to work/school.

It is very fun to play on both the TV and the hand held device. Is easier to play with the control that comes with the Nintendo switch.

Reminds me of dark souls, however this is a 2D side scroller which is probably the only difference. Definitely worth the purchase.

Second time buying this game. Really fun and challenging. Also comes with a little map too, which I thought was a nice touch.

It is not super graphically pleasing like many other games that are being made now, but it is a great game if you like a challenge!

Very nice and fun blending of old NES games like Castlevania, Metroid & Dragon Warrior with a more modern feel of Dark Souls.
