My intent on this microphone was to better record voices for narration for movies or short videos for my church. This is a great microphone that worked right out of the box with my mac. It is super heavy and feels like a real quality piece of equipment. I've tried using the three types of recording (Omni, etc) and all seem to work really well. I have not used the supplied software or really tried to edit the recording in post-production. This would work really well for podcasting, interviews, etc. I would recommend!

Awesome professional microphone. Easy to set and use. Looks terrific near my dual monitor set up.

This speaker is fantastic because there is no software that goes with it, so it’s all hands on. There’s nothing difficult to learn about the microphone too! It’s pretty basic with the dials to customize it to you liking for whatever you’re doing. I’m using it to live stream on twitch tv/me_smokey and it gets the job done. However, there is no way to tune the background noise. Luckily there is software to help with that. Overall great microphone without spending much on it.

Solid all-around USB condenser mic! I use it for music production on the go and the sound quality is great! I also love the added quarter-inch input in the back which allows me to track vocals and guitar at the same time in different channels. I would definitely recommend this if you're an amateur music producer or if you record podcasts or voiceovers.

This microphone is fantastic. I bought it to record some songs for my kids. It has great dynamic range, capturing all the cracks in my voice and the off-key stumbles that I made. They will definitely know that I was singing. I will be using this to record a lot more songs after the first dozen were so well received. Extremely high quality body and stand. You can't go wrong buying this microphone.

I purchased this for my niece. I have a Yeti mic and the first thing that stands out is how heavy the microphone is. If this would be attached to a boom, I would be concerned that it would be too heavy to stay in position. This came with free editing software, but it is not easier or better than Garage band for editing audio, so we will stick with that.

I use this with Audacity and it works great! its the best microphone for the money in my opinion.

I purchased this microphone to do podcasting and it is all I hoped it would be and more. My sound comes out crisp and clear. One great bonuse with this mike is that I can plug my bass guitar in and play it through headphones without disturbing others in the house. My son uses this microphone for interviews on his internet channel and is just as pleased. Great unit for the price.

Great mic, ease of use, just as good or better than the blue microphones... I own both.

Great sound quality for recording, but the software that came with it had an expired security certificate.

So I won’t lie. I like this microphone, I really do. But my issue with this is that it makes the audio that comes through it sound so much deeper than what it actually is. I am a streamer on Twitch And a lot of my viewers complain about it. And I try adding filters on top of it so it wouldn’t be as bad and it doesn’t really help. So unless you have a audio interface, I wouldn’t use it but at that point you might as well just get a XLR microphone.

It's been meh so far, tempted to exchange for a Yeti since pretty much every 3rd party accessory is meant for that. Feels like I went with an Android back in the day where everyone is selling accessories for the iPhone. Good quality in the recordings, I am not fond of the base but it gets the job done. Pop filter was tough to get on but that is likely just the one I bought on Amazon...

I got this because wearing a headset while gaming gives me a massive headache. This is great, paired up with the 38" Samson boom arm, now I can game and stream without getting a headache! My friends I game with tell me the sound is excellent. I talked my daughter into getting one for her setup and I can confirm the sound is well worth every single penny! You definitely get what you pay for.

I was excited at the prospect of recording voiceovers and gaming with this microphone... build quality appears to be excellent and it's a solid, well built mike. I like that it has the ability to plug in a guitar or other musical device and record that with voice. The Samson is heavy and made of solid metal parts; very little plastic in its construction. The only problem; I could not get windows 10 to recognize it after plugging the usb connector into my computer. It doesn't appear in audio and has a error mark in device manager. Tried downloading devices and software from Samson and still the mic has no output into computer and doesn't even show up as an option to select in audio settings. So disappointing! Had to return it ... got a Yeti instead which doesn't seem quite as well built, but it worked immediately plug and play when I hooked up the USB into my Windows 10 computer. I wish it worked because I thought it demonstrated great value for the money, excellent quality of build, it just doesn't operate with my Windows 10 computer!

Excellent sound quality and very easy to use. Perfect for pod casting.

This is a fantastic microphone in terms of recording and features. It is built very sturdy and has a lot of weight to it. My only complaint is that there is virtually no market for accessories such as shock mounts and boom sticks that can support the weight of this. Other than that it really is a solid piece of equipment with great quality sound and free software.

Started getting into streaming and was using a laptop webcam and mic. After doing a couple streams I decided to get this after some research and it was a night and day difference. My stream audio was way more clear and crisp. It is great build quality and is solid so I'm not worried about it breaking if one of my kids grab it. I have no complaints with it.
