This was exactly what I was looking for. I am a marketer who frequently shoots video with my phone and a stabilizer and I needed a microphone to add to my kit. The microphone quality is good, audio is clear and I didn't notice much (if any) rustling-around sounds from the mic against the interviewee's collar, although I had the microphone positioned outside of their shirt so I can't speak to how it sounds if tucked underneath. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I wish there were other ways to secure the receiver. I needed to be able to attach it to the handle of my stabilizer and ended up wrapping it around with electrical tape. Some kind of elastic band or other options for attaching the receiver would be nice but I like the functionality of this mic so much that I'm willing to work around it. Overall, this was a great buy!

This is an amazing little product that I bought in a pinch. It works really well and I have no major complaints. it was a little pricey compared to others but it was also designed well for its purpose. It works perfectly with the iPhone I was using to film with.

Product works pretty well. Sound quality is goo but need to be pretty close to the mic. I use it for going live for my business. Also its great that it works on my pc and not just phones.

This is a great device and works very well I use it with Switcher Studio app when going live. It works great I just wish they had an option for it to be able to charge iPad at the same time.

Product I thought was excellent I have no issue with sound quality and ease of use...... I did however have a malfunctioning microphone after 25 days.... 4 uses..... upon trying to make an exchange for a clearly faulty product (the thing is quality so sad it failed mid presentation), I am severely disappointed with Best Buy not exchanging it or helping me to get manufacturer return.....$190 shouldn’t be thrown out it 30 days

Extremely good sound quality of a remote mic system. It’s very easy to use and adjust to your video blogging. It allows me the ability to film and move around to communicate my message to my audience. Well worth the money!!!

Works extremely well for me. I love it. Having fun recording. Mounted the bade onto my tripod that holds my phone.

This is definitely what all vloggers and YouTubers should buy! The initial setup may be a bit tricky at first, but after getting the idea, it's easy to connect afterwards and it REALLY REALLY REALLY makes the videos that I record sound good (because the go mic picks up my voice SO WELL)! Lastly, I ABSOLUTELY love that this product comes with cables to connect the receiver to an Andriod or iOS device... ALSO AN EOS CMAERA!!!

Just want to mention you can’t use rechargeable batteries with this unless you buy specific ones like those for canon cameras. Point being the voltage on rechargeables are lower! Canon sells specific albeit expensive ones for their cameras that are same higher voltage as non rechargeable that would work better. That being said my only small gripes are the foam on the mic is too hard and can easily create rubbing noise if not clipped correctly. Will be looking a either a better mic or dead cat style cover for this mic, (maybe I’ll pluck some dead cat hairs off of my rode mic and glue them on lol). Also use good quality alkaline batteries to help prevent drops etc. Second gripe is the audio sounds dirty when monitoring it using headphones although crystal clear into my iPhone Xr. That being said I do not know what to expect when using it with a DSLR or similar. Hoping the volume will need to be so low that the noise will not be captured by the analog output like when using headphones. This review shows I just bought this one which is true however I did not review the same one I bought last year with same results, just needed a second one :) and am impressed with the quality and consistency not to mention it includes everything you need to get going! Well except two AA batteries. Uhm 48 pack bestbuy alkaline for $19!!! Work amazing with this.

I am so happy I bought this. It works well with my iphone 12! I finally have freedom from the wired mic. I use it weekly and it never disappoints!! It has a long battery life and it is easy to setup and use. No extra software, plugins etc needed. Its plug and play.

Easy to use and sound quality is perfect. Used these in a number one on one interview settings and busy noisy environments with no issues

Nice, easy to use, functional unit with very good sound. Light-weight headset style is a bit fussy to get on comfortably.

I didn't keep it BUT... Its good! If you're just starting out and don't want to empty your wallet for a Sennheiser system, this will do just fine for most applications, (vlogging, interviews, talking-heads, reviews, etc) given you don't have a very noisy environment. There are even more devices that Samson offers for this ecosystem which is a huge plus.

Great audio is extremely important when you are shooting any type of video. This mic is so versatile it can be used on your phone, laptop, and normal camcorder. It is amazing and has great settings to make sure the audio is good according to your voice!

I bought this with a gift card from Christmas and I had high hope for this mic because of it's multiple uses. The audio sound itself is pretty good but it randomly drops the signal so there is ZERO audio for a second or more, sometimes 5+ times in a 45 minute recording. If the person moves too much it static pops. That alone makes it useless. I've tried the suggestions of making sure the receivers are not obstructed and the subject has always been less than 10 feet away. Unfortunately after trying all of these and more for 3 months it's now too late to return it unless Samson has a warranty. It's definitely not worth $200 so don't waste your money!

This is a great little lavalier mic for beginner-intermediate users. I alternate between using this one out in the field, and a professional mic while in the studio. This Samson one is great to have on hand in a pinch.

Great microphone for wireless communications. Battery life is good, and the sound quality is much better than from a smartphone mic or laptop mic.

Was looking for a wireless mic to shoot few corporate videos. This one seemed to be an entry level product. Get's the job quite nicely. Pairing could be little tricky at times. Other than that audio quality is good, range is good and feels like good quality.

Works extremely well. We use this as a voice amplifier with a portable Bluetooth speaker for large outdoor groups of 25-50 people. It works great, no feedback or squawking. The lav mic is barely noticeable and the speaker we use is small enough to be hidden. I do wish the clamps on the receiver could open wider to accommodate the speaker we have but it's not a dealbreaker.
