I purchased for use with my laptop for Zoom lectures. While I had to purchase a separate cable to use it with my PC, once I did it has worked perfectly. All my students remarked on the greatly increased clarity of the lectures. Especially when I was facing the white board.

Sounds great! Just difficult to set up. Wish it was easier to set up. Otherwise quality is great!

I purchased two of these systems for a small business promotional shoot (one to use and one for backup). I returned both. Good: No issues with wireless connection (tested up to 50’) Bad: Not 100% reliable hardwired connections. The first unit gave inconsistent sound through the 3.5mm output. Either completely unusable riddled with static or nice clean audio, which was fixed by a disconnect/reconnect, but not acceptable IMO) Yes, I changed cables, checked connection to my camera (Canon 1DX mkII). It was definitely the Go Mic Mobile Receiver. The second unit worked fine and gave good usable audio 95% of the time. (I disconnected the unit to charge and upon reconnecting it I got the same issue as the broken one, although the static didn’t come back for the rest of the time I used it). Would I reccomend? No. For the money you will get a much better system if you avoid the wireless connection and just sync your audio in post. Something like a Tascam DR-10L is a much better value for the same price.

This is a good microphone for the price. There are two issues I have with this device: 1. The wind is a nuisance that can't be avoided without buying a separate dead-cat, and 2. you have to maintain line of sight in order to have adequate connectivity between the transmitter and the receiver. If you don't have decent line of sight, your audio can get disconnected and thus miss audio recording.

I've now used the mic system a handful of times. Overall I like it and it is serving the purpose I had for it. I have experienced a few randoms times where my audio blanked out for 1/2 a second, and that is frustrating, but not a deal breaker. I'm sure it's just something I need to tweak with how I use it.

This mic works great. If you are wanting one that you can run through a mixer it may not be for you.

Worked perfect, right out of the box. Set up is easy and intuitive with an iPhone. Some cords could stand to be a little longer.

I needed better audio from my camcorder. Although this wireless microphone is designed to work with mobile phones, it is just what I needed to have a consistent audio volume on my video recordings. The sound is deep and rich....not "tinny". The only issue I have had so far is there is a slight clipping when getting close to a 2.4 GHz wireless access point.

I purchased this for making workout vids for social media. It's excellent. I've used Samson before for teaching classes and they were always tough and durable with great sound quality. This is exactly what I needed.

We’ve used many different brands for interviews and other audio recordings and this is our first time to use a Samson brand. Very satisfied with audio quality and the distance of coverage. But we are yet to use it in a large venue with many people talking at the same time. Hope it holds.

It is easy to use! Using it for weekly record. Good for beginners.

We use this mic for fitness class and it connects very well with our speaker.

Bought this for a training environment due to social distancing and mask requirements. It works great in the classroom. Have to clip it in the mask in the manufacturing environment but that’s to be expected. Buy a longer cord for the receiver.

This is an excellent device! It has brought our cooking video's to a whole to audio level. I have freedom to move around the kitchen and not loose any audio! Would recommend this to anyone who makes video's or live streams!

Now, I was going to give this 3 stars but I am pretty sure the issue I am experiencing is due to my camera and not the microphone being WAY too sensitive. With that being said, I feel like there should be a gain option to turn down how much the microphone picks up sound and this is non existent with this product......from what I have seen.

It is good product that can be use with cell phone and camera.

I'm a Professional Speaker and we video my talks all the time. So excited to have a mic where the sound goes directly into the camera while recording. We've asked around about this many times and couldn't find the right solution. This is it! And it works perfectly.
