I really like the "No Springs" design (I hated the springs on other boom arms). It works as intended and exceeded expectations.

There is good resistance for stability but bad resistance where it feels like I might break it by accident. This arm has bad resistance. If on a budget this arm will do it's job but I would definitely look for a higher quality arm.
