Bad boom arm

Too many plastic parts - cheaply made!

My original intent was to use this microphone arm as a stop motion rig to support a large action figure for filming. But, after opening the package, I realized it wouldn’t be suited for that task because the desk clamp and hinges have lots of flimsy plastic parts. Quite disappointing! So, since it’s past the return period, I ended up mounting my Blue Yeti microphone to the arm and hoping for the best. I wouldn’t recommend this product, because it feels like it wants to break anytime I move the arm! Definitely not worth the price I paid!

Returned Never Really used

Needless to say it did not. The mounting system was also comically stupid. If your desk even has the slightest lip good luck mounting this thing.

It Holds A Mic

But don't expect to constantly adjust this thing; The motion is extremely stiff, and I'm always worried that I'll break it or the edge of my table. In fact, a small washer already fell out when I was just adjusting the position. Try not to get this unless it is your last resort, or you don't need to constantly make adjustments to it.

Arm moving on its own

But otherwise pretty good for how cheap it is, I do wish it was a bit more adjustable sometimes but you pay for what you get

Out of town Mic Arm Purchase.

The mic arm isn’t as flexible as other ones I’ve had in the past. I also had to buy adapters in order to put on mainstream and well known mics like the hyper x quad cast and the blue yeti. Otherwise, they won’t be able to attached to the arm.
