Best mic boom arm for thick desks!

I've purchased 5 different ones, and this one is the only one that fits my desk. I have a 2.6 inch desk thickness and both the clamp and the flange fit on the desk. Very sturdy and holds my rode podmic.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It does its job, hold your mic other than that its alrighttt had issues setting it up and yes i guess i got unlucky and got a very stiff one that i had to battle for it to move properly plastic parts not very stable got it for $50 at 20% off which if that was retail then i would understand but considering its around $80 just to much just pay the extra for the RODE1 PSA if you want a good boom arm.

You can do better

However if you jump up to the $100 price range the quality difference in what you get is night and day. I wouldn’t recommend going with this when you can get MUCH better arms like the Elgato wave on sale for like $80.
