I like the box and packaging, it felt well thought out and looks like it protected the speakers just fine. The overall construction of the speakers looks and feels great. The sound is great, however I do not have a direct comparison available. I purchased these for my live streaming studio work and they seem to be more of just computer speakers for me at this point. If I start to lay sound tracks and do more video editing then I will be using them as I intended to when I purchased them. *very disappointed in the 3.5mm or 1/8" cable to connect the left speaker. **and the lack of a 3.5 or 1/8" to RCA Y adapter cable. Seriously? I cannot think of any computers that ship today with RCA out? So the lack of an RCA cable? And the lack of the adapter feels really cheesy and lame to me. Even for the price I paid for these I would have expected better. Even if the adapter was of the same lame quality as the left speaker cable I would have been a little more pleased with this purchase. There is no "contents list" on the box so I was unable to confirm what was supposed to have shipped in the box. Do not bother with these speakers at any price until the contents list is made available and the RCA to 3.5mm is provided. Until then I cannot recommend these. Lame reason? Sure. Lame not to include a required cable? Even more LAME!
