    I have used this stand in my home studio for about a year now. I haven't had any issues. It's not designed for stage use, so I wouldn't recommend it for that.

    The samson boom microphone as a basic microphone stand that I use for my my Blue microphone. it's basic and was a good price.

    Cheap and Cheerful, does the job = value to cost. Not a fan of the tripod bases but what can you do!!!!

    So I guess my daughter wanted a professional microphone stand like you see on t.v….a round base with straight stick to microphone. She probably would have also liked some bling. I had a limited amount of money to spend so this is what she got. She would like to be a professional singer or actress some day so when that happens she can get the best microphone stand out there.

    If you need a boom stand to last a couple nights, this is the product to buy. Its cheaply made with cheap parts for a good price. Don't expect it to last past a couple of weeks, because it will start to fall apart soon as you are done using it for the first couple times.
