I haven't really owned mics before, but this is definitely great starter. My initial goals was to get a mic for my computer, but ever since I got my PA speaker, I wanted one that could do both. This mic executes well in both areas, and pretty darn well. Unfortunately, I can't compare it to a lot of other mics, but this one does sound pleasant to the ear. You do have to be relatively close, but it's great at not picking up background noise. I would say it's definitely not extremely professional, but with some tweaks, it does sound pretty good. Great mic for the average user and great price as well.

Great out of the box sound quality. I use it for Discord and in game chat. Far better than USB condenser for sure, minus the fact I have no treatment.

This mic is great for the price. It can be used with usb and an interface. You don’t need any software to improve the quality of the sound.

My son uses it with a hands free set up with a mic boom stick. He said it works very well and other players are able to hear him precisely and clearly even with the TV on loud volume in the background. Very good upgrade for a gamer/streamer Set up.

The build of the microphone is not bad and the stand is stable. Setup wasn't very hard. The only downside are the mic can be very quiet at times dependent on program despite turning the gain up. The microphone I recieved wasn't from one of the newly made batches by Samson with a usb c port.

Nice value for this mic. The ability to use xlr and usb is very convenient and with no loss to quality. Honestly sounds better than you might think.

These are some of the least expensive microphones on the market and they work EXCELLENT! I can barely hear any noise or background sound. I recorded with these directly under the ceiling fan in my room and the microphone didn't pick it up at all. There is some slight troubleshooting you'll need to do when you set it up, so depending on how tech savvy you are that may affect your initial experience but I went an bought a second one a few weeks later so needless to say I am very pleased with this mic!

Affordable and works so awesome. Great quality. Got it as a gift. It was so easy to set up and comes with a nice travel case. Definitely worth the money!

One of the best budget dynamic mics you can get for 50$ or less.. This is my 2nd unit that I bought.. my 1st one works perfectly fine, but I wanted a second one to use with another PC and just have one as back up.. it was on sale so it's hard not to get another just to have for a back up. The style isn't as appealing.. esp. if you want that sm7b look or blue yeti look.. but that doesn't take away from how it performs. Also this is XLR and USB.. so you always have an upgrade path if you wanna get into XLR + audio interface.

In my profession, I need to do the occasional voiceover work and opted for this microphone. Like other users, it is important to know your needs for microphones, especially when it comes to ambient sound reduction. I needed a product that was not as sensitive to ambient noise since we are in a 600 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment. This microphone has delivered on quality in a tiny package. Would recommend for those who don't have a space to record or have an environment that needs flexibility for the noisiness of life.
