So far so great! I’ve only used it for USB and this dynamic mic is a nice change from using a cardioid condenser mic. Those are great but they pic up every little sound, even the ambient noise. This mic on the other hand will isolate your voice or instrument and give nice feedback. Has usb, xlr and headphones jack all on the bottom

The microphone was easy to install, set-up and use. The instructions regarding it function the mode I am using could have been better but with use this can be done.

I made a video needing voiceover, and this microphone worked well. Even the background 10-year-old MacBook’s fan was cancelled out (or not picked up on the sound track).

This is for sure one of the best sounding mics I have heard for podcasts! The headset output is crystal clear as well! Really glad that I opted for it rather than the Rhodes!

Samson delivers on a high quality mic, for those seeking great mic at a budget. Q2U provides two inputs XLR and Mini-Usb, the choice is your. XLR will require a audio interface to operate, if so I recommend anninterface with a manual gain option. Overall USB will be the preferred option for most.

As an audio engineer/producer/musician I have had a lot of different mics. I've got the shure sm7b and all sorts of other kinds. But for the price and ease of use, the Samson microphones (this one and the C01U) are some of my favorites.

I used this microphone with “Audacity” software and it records flawlessly. With a little tweaking, I was able to record several snare drum samples and use them for producing a few songs. Nice bang for the buck!

This worked very well for my small event and was able to use it with my tailgator speaker and a mic adapter. Simple set-up if you're familiar with sound equipment.

Amazing quality for the price. Im not a robot, im being honest. This mic sounds better than my $100 Audio Technica and $100 Rode Podcast XLR mic. If you want an amazing XLR mic for a grest price, get this!

I’ve used this pretty extensively for over 6 months now for my own podcast as well as other recordings/presentations via programs like zoom, teams, etc. Quality has been great for these mediums since it’s just speaking vocals. I can’t comment on its ability to record singing or other instruments. However for speaking voice records it’s more than sufficient.

My son purchased this microphone for recording music via laptop. It works great! The sound quality is very good and the price was reasonable.

I did a lot of research and came across this mic. I use it for my podcast Small Victories and Side Notes ( https://www.buzzsprout.com/1273781/episodes ) stop by if you want to hear real time sound. I was skeptical but upon the first mic check and the first recording I knew this was a good mic. It’s cheap but you definitely can’t tell with the sound and usb capability

It works well. It's sound quality is clear. But listeners sometimes say the volume comes across as "low". So they need to turn up their volume to hear the speaker.

Its a great mic that makes you feel like a real professional, you can hold onto it and speak into it traditionally

The build of the microphone is not bad and the stand is stable. Setup wasn't very hard. The only downside are the mic can be very quiet at times dependent on program despite turning the gain up. The microphone I recieved wasn't from one of the newly made batches by Samson with a usb c port.

Needed a USB powered microphone for a member of my family to record walkthrough videos with. Tried a few different microphones, and this one comes with a great price tag that gets the job done. Nice sound quality.
