I wanted something basic, kid friendly. This set is perfect and looks sturdy. Also the long wire is a plus.

Cheap Adequate Value. Don't Expect Much.

For $16, this headphone is a decent deal and good value. This headphone does not produce good or high quality sounds at all. It lacks clarity. Many of the glowing reviews here aren't representative of reality. The sounds this headphone produce is best described as "muddle." It's not bad for watching streaming shows; you can hear the voices clearly however, everything else is dampened and indistinctive in both high and low frequencies. If you listen to music with a lot of bass, you're going to hear a lot of bottoming out bleats and it will over come everything else. If there is a lot of high frequencies in the music then it will be overly sharp and even painful to the ears. It's an inexpensive pair of headphone; you can't expect much from it. That's just reality. Don't believe the high praises. They are misleading.
