    Used this as my boot drive for 2020 iMac since my 1tb Mac drive was full. Very fast on thunderbolt 3. Hopefully will get a couple more years out of it.

    Blazing fast. I have two 990 models and had an old 980 model. The 980 model lasted 4+ years before it started acting up. In my testing I got almost peak performance every time and temperature is better than the 990 models.

    I was in a tight spot after my PC started to BSOD out of nowhere, my first thought was that something happened to the OS Drive (Samsung 990 Pro), but that wasn't it. I ended up replacing half of the build in search of a solution and it might have been Windows' latest update (August 2025) breaking the OS, I currently own 4 Samsung drives in my system and the oldest one is almost 10 Years old and well the fact that my “allegedly” bad OS drive was a Samsung and chose to get another from Samsung is a testament to how good they are!

    If you want the fastest speeds possible, this is the drive for you. Very easy to re-image my old drive over using the samsung magician software.

    Very fast. If you already have a gen 4 NVME like the 980 pro or evo plus, you will not notice a doubling in performance, but around 20-50% depending on workload.

    Bought this for work. Mainly use it for emails and getting my certificates done. Beta 26 update is the way to go easy AirPod switch from iphone via iPad and reversed. Best thing to do is keep this strictly important uses/purposes
