Exactly what I was looking for in a microwave to replace the hood vent in my kitchen. Anything bigger would require me to cut up my cabinets and move one cabinet higher than the others. This streamline microwave was more than expensive than most, but factor in the cost of changing my cabinets around, it was well worth the extra money. It is also really modern and functional.

Works mostly as it should . Supposed to auto on fan when stove top is on . This feature works sometimes. But as a stand alone microwave . It performs well and is easy to use . Buttons are easily readable and slimmer profile allows for more cabinet space .

I love this small above the stove microwave! It gives me lots of space when I’m using my stove. I miss the express buttons for quick cook! Oh no, now I have to push 3 times!! No biggie!

The microwave has a sleek style works great beautiful design and save a lot of space. It doesn’t feel or look so bulky just the perfect size

Nice slim microwave that does the job as the big one but with less space. I love it but the only thing I don’t like is the sensitive touch every time you want to whip it the fan and the light turns on.

I'm so bummed. We took out a loan to remodel our tiny kitchen in the summer of 2022 and splurged on this low-profile microwave to go over the range to save some counter space. We have had nothing but trouble with it. About a year in, it became possessed and would turn on randomly when we weren't even in the kitchen. I had a total tech membership, which allowed the service people to come out, order a new door, and then come back and install it. Ever since the door was replaced, the light stopped working. The total tech 2-year warranty expired so we couldn't fix that...then, during Thanksgiving break of 2024, it stopped working again! This time, it turns on but won't heat anything. Now we are SOL and temporarily using a 10-year-old $50 microwave from our garage, which works great but takes up a lot of the counter space in our tiny kitchen. We are going to do lots of research before we spend so much money on a microwave! Ugh. Very disappointing.

Microwave works well. It cooks food evenly. The 400 CFM is plenty powerful. I usually use it on setting 1-2 out of 4. I contemplated getting the next model up that has a 550 CFM fan but I am glad I didn't. I prefer the control panel on this model. As for the size of it, I have only found one item that was a little too tall and that is a 90 second rice packet. It is about 1/2 inch too tall, so I have to trim the top of the rice packet before cooking it which isn't a big deal. All of my bowls, plates, platters and dishes I would use in a microwave fit great. This Samsung replaced a full-size microwave that should have never been installed above our stove due to the low cabinets. The new, low profile Samsung fits nicely and gives us about 19 inches of space between the stove top and the bottom of the microwave. I can actually see the clock on the stove while I am standing in front of it now, and we can use our back burners for large pots.

The fit was perfect for over my range. Easy to use and stylish.

It looks absolutely amazing in my kitchen, and does everything I was hoping for without taking up the precious space above my stove. However. this thing is a giant pain in the neck to install. There is a bit of a design flaw, in my opinion. If you mount the bracket directly to the wall as the instructions indicate, you may find that your microwave installs with the front drooping down. This is because 1) the material that the top mounting screw go into is too flimsy to not bend outward slightly as you tighten them, and 2) the mounting bracket needs to be set out from the wall just a little in order to avoid the top back side from hitting the wall when you bolt it up in place. This will cause the unit to detach from the bracket bar ... not good. Solution: I mounted a thin (1/8") strip of wood to the wall and then put the mounting bracket on that strip. This allows enough play on the top back of the unit to allow you to tighten the mounting screws enough to pull the unit up level. Not a good design, but can be modified. Shall the send the bill for engineering services to Samsung?

I love my new microwave - I will admit I was a little worried as it is definitely smaller than other microwaves we have had in the past - but we have not had any issues with it; all food items we have needed to microwave have fit nicely in the space. The sleek look is also nice in our new kitchen! I also appreciate how easy it is to keep clean. I just recommended this microwave to my parents who are now in the market for new appliances.

I’m quite satisfied with my Samsung Microwave. It functions flawlessly, and the most impressive aspect is the user-friendly DIY installation process. Additionally, the convenience of remotely managing the microwave through the Samsung App is a significant plus.

Looks great over my stove, fits in the small area under the cabinets. Works great. Easy to learn (with user's manual). Because it's a low profile -- required for the "short" space above the stove -- you can't put anything tall in it. Something like a deep bowl won't fit. It's a trade-off.

Performs great. Slim , sleek look. Love all the smart features.
