Worked great up until today, was going to warm up some food and it just makes a loud humming sound without heating the food. Should have known better buying Samsung appliances. Love the size of it and looks, just didnt last long for the price.

Powerful microwave

I took one star off because it came with a broken glass fir the light. I guess I will call Samsung to see if it can be replaced.

No errors; the light and vent work fine. But nothing gets warm or hot. There's a 1 year warranty on the microwave, but supposedly a 10 year warranty on the Magnetron (the part of the microwave that heats things). I'm willing to pay for the repair, but Samsung won't/can't send an authorized repair person to where I live, and none of the local people will touch Samsung since they aren't authorized repair people. So I've got a machine with a part that theoretically has a warranty, but if I can't get it fixed what's the point of the warranty? I've gone back and forth with Samsung about this (Best Buy wouldn't do anything, but it isn't their warranty), and they haven't been helpful at all, beyond suggesting I get a new Microwave! I'll probably have to, but it definitely won't be from Samsung!

The internal height is about the same as a smaller counter microwave. However, my one gripe would be that it is very deep for an over the range microwave. 19" means its sticking out a full seven inches from a 12" cabinet. Not a problem from the front but it doesn't look great if you look at it from the side.
