Id rather have screws and screw it into a stud rather than hoping drywall would support it.

The look is sleek, modern and fits well into the cabinet space matching with other appliances. Does the simple tasks well of microwaving, quite in sound, heating food evenly without breaking the bank.

Handle(door) was replaced Feb 2024 by Samsung since it was still under factory warranty. Now Feb 2025 handle came loose again. The handle is made of a poor/cheap plastic and not secured enough. Needless to say I do not recommend this microwave.

Overall the appearance is nice takes food longer to warm up. The overall design is cheap after just 7months (August), the whole door handle has broken and came off. I started to notice in July that opening the door was becoming hard oiled the side to see if that would help tried to open it and the bottom part of the handle broke I pushed it back in thinking that it had snapped back in. We didn’t use it for a while then in August my daughter went to warm something up grabbed the handle to open it and the entire handle came off. Now I am forced to open it from the bottom if we intend to use it. But now it’s an eye sore over my stove without the handle.

Handle broken - received defect product

I kept using it thinking it’s just a scratch. However the handle start moving and now broken. The product only have one year warranty, making it difficult to get help from the manufacturer. Lucky Samsung now agreed to send technician to replace the broken part. I do not recommend this version of microwave. Who would think microwave’s handle will broke only after one year use!!!

As after a year of normal light use the door handle broke into a bunch of little pieces! It requires a tug to open the door but at no point was it pulled hard enough for it to break into a bunch of pieces!!!! I tried going through best buy support and they wanted to charge me $150 dollars to have some one to come look at it! Which is ridiculous and very obviously a cheap parts issue!!!i feel really screwed outta my hard earned money and warn everyone!!
