Works Most of the time...Except when it doesn't

I am disappointed in this microwave. It has what I am sure is a design defect. When it gets hot from the range being on below it, the controls stop working correctly. I try to turn off the fan and instead the fan changes speed. Turning on/off the light also changes the fan speed. 90% of the time it works fine but when a pot of water has been simmering for a while underneath it, the control malfunction keeps happening.
I have bought two of these microwaves, both with the exact same defect. The first one went back to the store right away. When the exact same thing happened on the second unit I called Samsung, who arranged for a third party to come look at it. The third party told me I would have to unmount it from above the range for them to take a look. Well, if it's not mounted, the malfunction doesn't happen so that is pointless.
When the range underneath hasn't been on for a while, it is working fine. I have already gotten the bracket in place and holes cut in the cabinetry. It's not worth it to return again and get something else which won't mount the same way. So instead of being on the phone with Samsung for another 4 hours or trying to return to Best Buy, I am just leaving a crappy review. I hope it's not malfunctioning more than it currently is a year from now.

After having microwave for a couple of months the handle came lose from bottom and will not stay in place. All my appliances are Samsung and very disappointed with this one.
