Something went wrong and it would constantly heat even when not in use. First time it was a hum that it made when not in use. I unplugged it and turned it back on and it was better. Then the him came Back that is when I noticed it was actually heating. I called Samsung get support and was told even though I had just had it installed a few months ago that it was just over a year old and out of warranty. After several discussions with a supervisor they agreed to send a repair person out to look at it. A few weeks later they finally came. The Samsung repair technician told me it was a common issue with this model and replaced a small sensor of some sort. He then tested it and it worked. Two days later the hum came back and the heating while it was off continued. No luck with Samsung as they won’t fix it. It will be my last Samsung purchase of any kind. We only got to use it for two months and spent a ton on their top of the line model. Not good service. If you know you have a common issue make it right.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returning the second one tomorrow.... 1st one lasted 6 weeks then the plastic foot piece from the shelf insert just burned straight through shooting sparks all over. Almost caused a fire, smoke everywhere. Second one was dented at the bottom and you cannot get the vent cover off to insert the charcoal filter in.... that’s apparently why the install guys just didn’t do that on the first run.... I digress. Customer service was a nightmare had to go back to the store. The sales associate didn’t ring us up for the 5 year protection plan and that almost shot everything down to get it fixed, even though only 6 weeks old. They were, in the end, able to do the right thing and just swap out, but again, it’s dented and you can’t get the filter in. Manual is for a similar but not quite accurate model. Had more issues with this microwave and the other appliance I bought. This thing is buggy, I’d go so far as to say dangerous, and if you think for one second your going to get a competent person there to install or repair this thing my experience thus far has been that it’s a toss up at best, you have been warned. It’s really expensive for all of these problems. I’m going in for a refund and I’m just going to get a different model, at a different store, and never buy an appliance from Best Buy again. Nightmare. Lol.
