The unit is very sleek and has the convection function that our old unit didn't have. It doesn't have a handle in the front which makes it easier to clean the surface without grease getting trapped in the edges of the handle. The light bulb on the bottom of the unit is also white LED, nice and bright. All in all a good purchase.

Initially I was very excited to see that this microwave has built in convection oven and air fryer. Now that I have used this for over 4 weeks, I see several issues already 1. The convection oven highest possible temperature is 425F , and it never really crosses 400F despite 50 mins of cooking. Too bad some of the frozen nuggets that my son loves is supposed to be cooked at 450F 2. Because of heat coming from left , it overcooks the food on left and does not cook the other parts as thoroughly. If you keep the turntable on, the overall food is not cooked very good. 3. The only real smart thing about this microwave oven is that you can switch on or off the light and vent using the phone app. You will not be able to operate the other parts of the oven from your phone like microwave , heat , fry etc. I was hoping to get more done. 4. the location of the switch of the fan is not good. Every time opening or closing the door, I and my family members frequently touch the button and it kicks on. WOuld have liked a more ergonomic location of the door and the buttons. 5. With limited features, this appliance is very expensive. I will not advise to pay this much for few little beneficial features it is brining. SOrry Samsung. Regards Tushar

This is an awesome microwave! The auto-cook feature for re-heating leftovers cooks food evenly and completely. All the added special heating options have worked just as advertised with the settings guide provided with purchase. I baked chocolate chip cookies in this and the normal oven. The microwave cooked all the way through and left the tops a little brown if you like that! And finally, the preset cooking options seem to follow almost exactly to the heating instructions provided on food items.

It works good for a microwave. We haven't really tried anything else with it. I can't get it to connect to the Smart-things we've tried several times and there was no sticker on it to scan to connect it. Ours also did not come with a turntable (glass tray) we a bought this on September 4th and when we contacted Samsung they were going to send us one in 10-15 days. In October I finally bought a replacement and gave up on Samsung sending us one. The product itself seems good and the delivery of it from BestBuy was good. Probably would have given 5 stars if I didn't have to contact people repeatedly to get a turntable that I ended up having to buy one anyway.

It does everything it says it'll do. It's easy to install and works well.

I bought this microwave thinking it would solve my want of having a an airfryer/toaster oven in my kitchen without taking up counter space. The heating element in the oven took a while before it was usable then if it stayed on too long, it would cut off and turn the vent on to cool itself. So it wasn’t a great replacement there. However, the reason this loses 3 stars is because it also completely went out after just over 2 years of use. It’s the only microwave I’ve ever owned to actually stop working.

This microwave has really cool features. However, the special menu feature online is hard to access and is in metric making it hard to use. Therefore I never use it and was looking forward to it.

Looks great...I am hoping that it is my last microwave purchase for a long while. Can't wait to try the slim fry/convention feature.

We bought this a few months ago and it works perfectly. We like the design and functionality and also the wifi capability.

Beautiful design, easy to use and multipurpose. I highly recommend. Slim fry is awesome and oven options have all your oven needs.

Got a decent deal on this Samsung convection microwave.

Once I have learned how to use this microwave…I really like it.

Installation was easy but recommend having a second person to help. Initial impression and use are positive so far. We purchased for the convection oven feature and already used it to make cookies in addition to the standard microwave functions. Wifi features are pretty basic from the SmartThings app so not sure we will use that much.

This is normally priced for $614. Best Buy had it on sale for $499. Bought this as an open box for $258! Does everything it is supposed to do. Love the wifi as it will alert me to when something is through heating. I will no longer avoid buying open-box items

This microwave does it all. So far I've only used the convection oven, popcorn and usual microwave features. I am studying the booklet to learn how to do so many of the features. I love the light over the stove, it is a bright white light. The timer works great, and so far no finger prints, how does that happen? It does seem to have more power than the old microwave, so don't heat up that coffee for more than 15-20 seconds. The instructions and care are very clear, the installers were very nice and efficient.

This microwave works great! The handle is hidden so It gives the sleek modern look in my kitchen.

This is a good-looking Over-the-range Microwave. The added feature of convection cooking is a plus as we don't need to buy another countertop appliance. The manual need work, though. A bit too obscure on some of the more complex features.

Looks great, works well, but not intuitive. Because it’s also a convection oven, need to do more button-pushing than we were used to in a simple microwave. Haven’t used the convection yet, and need LOTS more info than comes with it, so hope we will be happy with that feature. Installation was not easy, and contractor was not happy that installation was not included with delivery - have to order that separately, which we didn’t know.
