I really like this microwave. I don't cook in it, but it reheats well and quickly.

Microwave works pretty well; however, Samsung will not honor their warranty. One day I went to open the microwave using a normal force and was hit by plastic pieces. Turns out that plastic clips holding the door handle became brittle and shattered. Samsung denied the warranty claim first time saying it was "Cosmetic" and then it was a "Physical Damage". I am not sure how it is possible to pull on a door handle without any physical force.

Mechanical failure on door.

Door spring on latch broke. Bought on Mar 8 and broke on April 23. This was a replacement microwave for one that had a electrical failure so I was expecting more out of this one as I reviewed and chose this one. The spring holds tension on the door latch so the door will stay closed. Cannot run the microwave without holding the door closed by hand. Bad design or just unlucky on the part.

We needed a basic microwave without all the bells and whistles. I’ve had much cheaper microwaves that have lasted longer. After a little over a year (exactly one month past the one year manufacturer warranty limit) this microwave has stopped working. It chooses to start and stop whenever it wants to. The product randomly starts on its own when the door is closed. A waste of $300. I should’ve gotten the cheaper $50 one.

Horrible product. Had 10 mo and the view window is coming loose and microwaves probably coming into house. No support or replacement. The plastic around window is shredding. Poor quality. Other things wrong the turn style stopped turning and the keypad hard to see because no backlight. But it looks great when installed. Safety issue

There is a safety concern in this product. The first Samsung microwave we had burnt down . We got the same microwave again and within 16 months, this one has burnt down too!!
I don’t recommend this one.

Buy cheap, get cheap. The digital display failed just outside of one year. Two of the segments are gone resulting in a new game in the kitchen - what time is it?

Great looking microwave and cooks much better than the GE we had. My only negative was the door trim and the keypad trim are slightly off by a few millimeters, but doubt they are all like that.
