Door spring on latch broke. Bought on Mar 8 and broke on April 23. This was a replacement microwave for one that had a electrical failure so I was expecting more out of this one as I reviewed and chose this one. The spring holds tension on the door latch so the door will stay closed. Cannot run the microwave without holding the door closed by hand. Bad design or just unlucky on the part.

Horrible product. Had 10 mo and the view window is coming loose and microwaves probably coming into house. No support or replacement. The plastic around window is shredding. Poor quality. Other things wrong the turn style stopped turning and the keypad hard to see because no backlight. But it looks great when installed. Safety issue

There is a safety concern in this product. The first Samsung microwave we had burnt down . We got the same microwave again and within 16 months, this one has burnt down too!! I don’t recommend this one.

Great looking microwave and cooks much better than the GE we had. My only negative was the door trim and the keypad trim are slightly off by a few millimeters, but doubt they are all like that.

Buy cheap, get cheap. The digital display failed just outside of one year. Two of the segments are gone resulting in a new game in the kitchen - what time is it?

Had this for little more than a year. Great more compact over the stove microwave. Easy to use and has great exhaust fan and light.

Nice microwave all the way around. simple operation and does a nice job. great addition to my Samsung appliance package.

This has constant problems. After two years of fighting with it to work i pulled it out and replaced with a different one. What a waste of $400 !

Work good but one year later the front door start to peel.Looks terable.

I recently purchased this microwave, and everything seemed great at first—sleek design, easy-to-use controls, and decent power. However, I encountered a major issue: whenever I closed the microwave door, it would automatically turn on! Thinking it was just a defect, I exchanged it for the same model. To my surprise, the second unit had the exact same problem. Every time I closed the door, the microwave would start running on its own without pressing any buttons. This seems like a significant safety hazard, as it can run without supervision. While I loved the design and features, I can’t recommend this microwave due to this dangerous glitch. Hopefully, it’s something that can be fixed, but for now, I’d avoid this model.

This is a very clean and good looking protect. It works as good as it looks. The heating is quick and efficient and the options are very good. Easy for us to install, but you should have some skills in installing items under cabinets and securing it to the wall. You tube was a big help on this

I’ve had this Samsung microwave for about two years now, and while I initially loved the sleek design and the beautiful color options, it, unfortunately, broke down after two years of use. It worked well during that time, with quick heating and even cooking. However, I was disappointed by how soon it stopped functioning properly. Still, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for something stylish with various color options for your kitchen.

Ok, so it's a Samsung and alot of people like the phones (me included) but are skeptical for other stuff because GE is probably the best (for now but just got bought out by China). The microwave works for what we use it for: re-heating, popcorn, melting butter etc. I never would cook from raw anything in a microwave anyways so you do you at that point...lol

The basics ... the finish is attractive and easy to clean, and the microwave performs as expected for a 1kw unit. Installation was easy (if you know how to do this sort of thing). Unfortunately the keypad is the sort that has a flexible polycarbonate sheet over pressure-sensitive buttons. They have to be pressed fairly hard, and it's easy to push on the wrong bit of the surface so you don't hit them at all. This is also the sort of keypad that, in my experience, develops cracks with long use, especially if any of the operators have long fingernails. It's really unfortunate that Samsung didn't include an easy-touch capacitative keypad. The menu is less than ideal as well. Cooking presets such as the melt/soften and cooking functions have only numbers for their presets, not words ... which means you need to have a chart to look up, for example, what number to select for softening butter vs melting chocolate. Finally, this unit does not include a function that I thought was nearly standard these days -- fast one-touch cooking where, for example, a single press of "1" turns it on for a minute, "2" for 2 minutes, and so on. Not a big deal, but my family had gotten used to this on our last 2 microwaves and were disappointed not to have it here. But as a basic over-range microwave, it fills the need. I'll not be upgrading right away.

Just love my microwave... It's energy efficient, easy to use, versatile, you can defrost, reheat leftovers, cook frozen food with ease. It has multiple preset buttons making life easier and it's reasonably priced and a great addition to any kitchen!

Good microwave overall. However, i live in a remote area and could not get best buy to come install although they have nstalled multiple products over the years. It also was to replace same microwave that had some type of door issue that best buy DID replace

I ordered the microwave to pick up at the store. I was warned by the BestBuy rep to examine my microwave for dents/damage. I looked at it immediately when I got it home, it had a significant crumple on the back corner. I'm glad I examined it immediately, back to the store it went. Waited another week to receive a replacement, I examined it at the store, even though it made me look like a skeptic, that's okay with me. This microwave was a keeper. Easy to install, although I needed a second set of hands to lift it on the hanger. Measure twice (or three times), drill once. Only required a minor adjustment to the drilled hole. Be aware that the filter "kit" is merely a filter already included. It rests in the middle slot at a tilt, and rests on 2 tabs that are at a slant. This was not intuitive to me. I made a call to Samsung, the helper was pretty good at explaining where the filter belongs as it is not clearly stated in the instructions. Very happy with the microwave, straightforward install. I'm a "okay" diyer and like to do things myself because I want it done right and I spend the time to read instructions or ask questions when I can't find the information myself.
