It had a trim kit and the SAMSUNG fit perfectly into the same location. I checked out all the reviews of microwaves and found most had some sort of issues. The SAMSUNG appeared to be the best product. We like it so far after a month of use. Only minor negative comment is the dark color of the oven. Old one was white and could easily see any debris from cooking.

When it first starts it’s very loud, almost like a surge, then it quiets down through the rest of the cycle.

Bought it open box & it doesn't sit level

The microwave is defective & will not sit level. When three feet are on the counter, the fourth foot is well above the countertop. The door constantly closes while attempting to put food in & it gets in the way. It took me five tries to get the warranty registered, as it was repeatedly rejected online and I had to call customer service & have them intervene in order for the website to work. The microwave appears to work okay, but is super annoying.
