Works as expected and has been user friendly. Only issue I have had is light bulb going out after only about a year

So I like everything about the microwave but 1 annoying thing is that you can't use the timer and the microwave at the same time, It's 1 or the other. It doesn't make me want to return it but it's annoying.

Doesn't seem to be as powerful as our old GE microwave but gets the job done in a bit more time. Says fingerprint resistant, but I disagree as I notice the prints wherever I touch.

Its a great microwave. We had to replace our appliances and chose to replace our old Samsung which was a builder quality microwave. Nothing wrong with the old one, but this one is obviously much nicer. While it does seem a bit smaller than our original microwave, the microwave itself is still big enough to handle everything we have thrown its way so far.

Downside to the microwave is that the glass of the door is a black tint and the background where the numbers are also black. Makes it difficult to see the numbers and other icons. Otherwise microwave is good

Install was a pain in the butt, one of the nut-insert threads were damaged and it took us disassembly of the unit to fix it. However, once installed, it has been great! Quiet and heats stuff up. What more can you ask for.

I was shopping for a new OTR microwave when I happened to be approached by a Samsung rep that was in the store. I consider myself a friendly person and when she engaged with me in conversation, I went along with it. I was looking to replace an older model Frigidaire OTR microwave and honestly didn't know about OTR appliances. I had read reviews and looked at Consumer Reports but all I garnered from those sources was that no OTR microwave would be perfect. After speaking with her for some time, she eventually left me to my own devices - of which I used to further look at reviews while in the store. I eventually said "Why not? Just give it a try!" After all, despite some poor reviews, JD POWER did give Samsung excellent scores...and I do trust JD POWER. So here I am, writing this review at the counter in my kitchen right across from the microwave. She works perfectly as an OTR microwave should. The installation took less than an hour, I love the Black Stainless Steel, and I love the blue inside. I've had no problems thus far and it's been almost a month. People have indicated that they are having difficulty changing the time...the POWER LEVEL button indicates that you hold it for 3 seconds to change the time (pretty simple stuff). The vent has 4 settings and the light option has two. Heats all my food pretty evenly and doesn't take too long to do it. I would recommend this microwave.
