We bought this microwave less than a year ago and the handle to open it broke this morning… the microwave itself works well but this is just strange. You’d think that the piece the needs to be the sturdiest part (and is necessary to open the thing) would last a little longer. Makes me a little worried about how the rest of the parts will hold up

I needed a Microwave so I bought this one because Samsung is a great brand and it’s a trustworthy company. Can’t complain and the price is just right. I’ve bought other products from Samsung and they turn out excellent. Do recommend.

I'm the kind of person that'll compare every brand against each other before making a purchase. This microwave was the perfect choice and that saying so after owning it for almost two months. We use it daily and it is perfect. It heats perfectly and has a large turntable. If I had to complain about anything, I would say that the vent fan is a little noisy but we can live with that. The build-in light has two settings which makes it perfect if using it for a night light, too. Would definitely purchase again.

This microwave is awesome! Quiet, even fast heat. Easy to clean and keep clean! Very happy with this purchase. Would buy this one again!

Let me start 1st with the appearance. So the dark chrome is a solid look but unfortunately from there it goes down hill. So the Samsung stamp on the front of the microwave is crooked of all things you would expect that Samsung would’ve caught that in their inspections. The key board is pretty basic and very difficult to get a response from the buttons. The inside is ok. We you turn it on it sounds like it struggling.

This item was delivered to me by them. It was suppose to be installed by Best Buy upon opening box all of the right side was badly dented on top right, bottom left corner and middle not so bad. Immediately, called best buy to let them know and they wouldn't accept a return. Manager said it was our fault for not opening box at location. When do you open a box for any item purchased at store? Like never! Manager had us call Samsung as well, and obviously they couldn't do anything about it either. SO, had no choice, but to let them install it.. I won't ever buy an appliance by any sort from best buy, again!. Other then it being damaged, microwave works wonders. I really like the way it works. I especially like the fit choice option. The only thing I didn't like is that compared to Frigidaire it doesn't come with preset numbers from 1-6 like Frigidaire has. It also doesn't come with a owner's manual to know how to use some of the functions. I had to call Samsung to have them show me how to change clock and use some of the functions and Samsung wont ship you a manual they'll text it to you to download yourself.

The main reason I bought this Samsung microwave was from a positive review from a Bob Villa blog. I own a Samsung refrigerator that we are pretty happy with and we needed to replace our GE Profile 36” model that was wrought with problems for the ten years we had it. First the pros - and there are not many: it microwaves - It has a beautiful black porcelain coating inside of it. Now, the cons: this, and it seems most of not all Samsung microwaves are made for 30” install spaces. Other vendors, like Whirlpool, LG, GE, offer kits for most of their installs to fill the 3” gaps on either side of the appliances, but there are NONE to be found for Samsung (except for some no-name brand generic ones that i cannot get a price on). There are 36” modela out there in other brands like GE, but i swore off GE because I had problems with all 7 appliances i bought in my kitchen remodel 10 years ago. Also, the door and appliance in general seems very tinny and cheap. I felt it when I was installing it and was worried it would have that cheap feel to it. The functions are confusing and not really too functional from what little I can gather from the non existent documentation that has to be downloaded and really - no quick buttons? I want to heat something for a minute and it takes me like 7-8 keystrokes. Ugh, what a step backwards. Well, at least it works so far. It microwaves pretty good. Lol

Very nice microwave but the control panel was much easier to work on our older model touch screen Samsung that we are replacing. You have to touch "below" the button picture and not "on" the button picture like most microwaves on this new model. This is hard to get used to as there is no outline of the spot or indication of the area to push. There is also no "Clock Set" button. You have to go online and download the manual to find the instructions on how to set the clock. There is no "Cook Time" because you have to fully enter the cook time on all items. The "Power Level" button is tricky since you have to hold it for 3 secs first. Why? It only has one function. Not sure why you need a "Kitchen Timer" button since you have to program in all your cook times. Every Oven/Range I've ever seen has one so we don't need a second one on the microwave. Our old microwave panel let you hit the 1 for 1 minute, the 2 for 2 minutes etc. If you needed an exact time you hit "Cook Time" and entered it. It was much simpler. There are several preset buttons like Pizza, Potatoe, Snacks, Veggies, Popcorn etc.... We would never use any of these buttons except Popcorn which we rarely make. Could have replaced some of this panel space with "Clock Set" and "Cook Time" buttons. Works fine once you get it to do what you want. Looks fine but because of the control panel I would have to say it's a pain in the butt.

The microwave fits the space well and doesn't pop out too much. I personally like having the handle vs. the grip-pull on the door. You need to press the buttons a bit to get it to register. Otherwise, it does what a microwave is meant to.

Now this is a big beauty. I bought this as a wedding gift and they absolutely love it. It is big and spacious if you have to warm up a big meal fast. Interior and the led lighting is beautiful.

My first impressions are that the door handle needs a little more force to pull open as compared to my previous Samsung microwave. Also, you need to get used to finding the right place to press the buttons as there are no visible outlines other than the lettering. Story: Perfect replacement for our over-the-range space that was previously held by another Samsung microwave whose door-close sensor malfunctioned. Apparently this is a common problem with Samsung microwaves. As long as I have Geek Squad protection, I have no complaints. Our earlier one was a fancy microwave with racks and stuff then realized we never used additional features in over 2 years. We chose this since the cost + 5yr Geek Squad protection was less than the cost of the one we had earlier. Did not want to experiment with other brands as the cabinet space was just snug for this brand. Plus I could use the same mounting holes and brackets. Also, has all the same functionality. I still don't know what the sensor cooking does. As long as it heats food properly, I am not going to complain.

Very happy with this purchase. Microwave was easy to install and is quiet. Controls are easy. No complaints.

Works great! I feel like it’s quieter than the previous microwave we had in our kitchen. It has three different fan exhaust settings rather than two. Overall a solid purchase.

Beautiful black stainless steel oven. Price is also affordable I like how it look.

Our old microwave went out just hours before our huge Christmas Eve dinner. The Best Buy associate wasn’t super helpful in finding the best microwave for my buck. This thing can cook an egg faster than our old microwave! It looks great, easy to install, and has a heck of handle on it. The handle is the best darn handle for a microwave. Two light settings and four fan settings, this thing can shine bright like a diamond, and blow the hell out of some burnt food.

Its a beast solid mike but last one i bought last year top of the line died. Hoping it was me, I'll re visit this in a year with this new one. Much easier to clean than the stainless.

Looks really nice and works great. A major upgrade from my last one.

Wonderful microwave. Easy install. Measure and then level according to the instructions. Wonder outcomes from reheating or cooking.

Overall it does what a microwave should do. You can follow the heating instructions for a 1000 watt even though this is a bit higher. I had to read the instructions to set the clock because there's no "clock" button like standard microwaves. The only reason I left off a star is because this oven claims to be fingerprint resistant....HA!! I'm wiping fingerprints all the time and we don't have a lot of people in our house.
