Bought this microwave as open box and my wife love it. Been using it long before we installed it above the stovetop and it works perfectly.

We love this microwave! It’s much quieter than our last one. It feels sturdy and the light underneath is nice and bright. My 14 year old even commented on how well it heats all the way through, not just the edges. The sensors are really handy, too! Great purchase!

It matches our other appliances so it is fine, but it isn't anything special. The build quality is fine but the door is a little rattly, or hollow sounding. It lacks quick features like shortcuts in the number pad and there is no night light timer function or auto on/off.

Samsung Microwave is awesome very powerful and is nice and big inside.

First and foremost, I bought this microwave less than a month ago. While it was an open box, the manual and installation items were included. I was very happy with it, but have already started having problems with it. I have used it to reheat leftovers or heat up snacks. This partiular style is quite heavy and bulky; nonethless, it has an awesome exhaust fan and 3 light settings and the turntable, on/off feature. It has the open to turn off/on the turnable. I don't see turning when I reheat items. I've used it twice to reheat meals. The first time,I reheated some fozen spahgetti. I set it for about 6 minutes , then it turned off completely! I quickly checked the breaker box, thinking that may help. Wrong! It was completely shutdown for about 30 minutes. Hmm, I thought, that must be an isolated incident. Today, I heated some frozen brocolli. Again, I set it for 6 minutes. Much to my surprise, it shut down again. After 30 minutes, it is now working! Needless to say, I will need to uninstall it, so I can purchase a new one. Thankfully, I bought the warranty, so I will be returning. Sadly, this will involve paying to remove it and reinstalling it.

I’ll start off by saying it heats food great, and if that’s all that matters to you, go buy it. Complaints: -Cannot use microwave and kitchen timer at the same time. Seriously, who at Samsung overlooked this inconvenience? -Cooktop lighting is supplied by halogen bulbs (very hot) that do not put off much light. I had to buy LED bulbs (about $10 each) that are more efficient and put out more light. Why is Samsung still shipping units with halogen bulbs, which are from the last century? -Fresh of the box the door was not aligned with the body, off by maybe 2-3 millimeters. Most people would not care, but it slightly bothers me. -Touchpad is hard to use, and scratches easily. You have to REALLY push the buttons hard. Several guests have asked what is wrong with our microwave. Also, the plastic surface scratches very easily. I cleaned it with a non-stick safe blue sponge and now the touchpad is covered with tiny swirls. If you buy this do NOT clean the touchpad with anything but a microfiber cloth. I've included a picture of the scratches but they are difficult to see. -The “stainless” surface gets dirty very easily. Despite all my complaints above, I begrudgingly continue to use it, because who wants to replace a 1-year-old microwave? On the other hand, I am hoping it dies soon so I can justify buying a replacement, and this time I will double check the be sure you can use the timer and microwave at the same time.

Love the looks of this thing inside and out. Matches and compliments our other Samsung appliances.

I hate to give this a bad review, but we had to return it - the lighting was that bad The heavy window screen, smoked glass, and dark blue interior combine with the weak bulb buried deep in a poorly designed housing to make the interior almost invisible once the door closes. If you're doing anything delicate where you need to actually *see* what you're cooking - well, you're out of luck. Changing the original, dim, "long life" style lamp to a brighter LED appliance bulb helps - a bit - but not enough. Other than that, though, really nice unit, and if you don't need to see what's cooking, that dark enamel interior is really easy to clean

This microwave is okay, the light inside is not bright at all. The touch buttons have to be pressed firmly or it won't acknowledge the command. It's nice looking and goes great with my black cabinets.

Nice looking microwave, is quietly and cook food really fast, the only issue is that when you closed the door is really noise, but is not a big deal to me.
