    Died in a few weeks Samsung is the worst

    Samsung is absolutely the worst in customer service - do not buy their appliances - they do not stand behind them. This model fridge died a few weeks after we bought it in early December. Calling in to talk to anyone takes hours of time - was promised by customer service that if we had a tech out a second time and it was not fixed they would replace it. Now the THIRD tech has come, it's not fixed and Samsung wants to send out a fourth tech so I can only assume I was lied to. It does not cool or freeze so it is 100% unusable. It is now the 21st of January. How long does Samsung expect one go without a working fridge? Apparently they are not concerned at all about the extreme inconvenience and cost the customer incurs. I manage many apartment buildings and have bought hundreds of appliances from all different companies and I can tell you from my experience Samsung is the absolute worst to deal with bar none. My advice is stay away. from Samsung. This model always seems to be on sale and I wonder if it is because Samsung knows it is a lemon. If you want a fridge that looks great but doesn't work at all and doesn't have a company that stands behind it then this will be perfect for you.

    Smaller Fridge.

    This fridge is a little on the small side. I didn't have a large space to put it in and needed a smaller fridge. This refrigerator is nice, but the only complaint is the shelves. There is no way to adjust them.

    My mother was so pleased with her new refrigerator! It fit perfectly and was the color she wanted. No scratches or dents and the delivery men were prompt and very careful with the merchandise!!!

    Had to reset this thing numerous times as it was falsely indicating the refrigerator and freezer were at 37 and 0 degrees respectively. In reality my items in the freezer were defrosting (ice cream melting, meat thawing) and could visibly see condensation on items in the refrigerator building up. After reset, it would confirm that the temp was indeed much higher and would correct itself. But every time it would just shut down again and the only way I would know is if I checked my food. My frozen goods have thawed and frozen so much over an almost two week span. Might just be a bad copy, but this has been a horrible experience while trying to get settled into our new home.

    Freezer constantly stops working

    Terrible experience with this fridge and customer service. After less than a month, the freezer stopped cooling and the smart thermostat did not reflect the actual temp. Have to re-plug in the fridge almost every week to reset it and get it cooling again when it suddenly stops working. So much of my food has spoiled. Even with the Best Buy protection plan I have, the return/refund window is only 2 weeks and the freezer issue started shortly after so now I'm stuck with a faulty fridge. Best Buy customer service has done little to help, routing me to Samsung customer service. Took 10 days to get a repair person out and a few days later, the freezer stopped again. Requested a 2nd repair from Samsung 3 days ago and have not heard from them since on an appointment date. Really regretting this purchase.

    Samsung refrigerator review

    Looks really nice on the outside but small capacity inside. I had to remove the top shelf to fit taller objects. I also miss having the cold cut drawer under the second shelf. I wouldn’t recommend this refrigerator. I should’ve bought a larger one. Good for the price though

    Buyers Beware

    within 6 months, this fridge has stopped cooling twice. the first time was a major repair and replaced compressor. shortly after that, it stopped working again. both times leading me to throw out the entire contents of my fridge. There are entire groups on facebook dedicated to the horrors of Samsung appliances.... buyers beware.

    Worst fridge ever

    Worst refrigerator ever. We’ve had it 6 months, and the freezer has stopped working twice, The thermostat says the temp is 0 degrees, but stuff is thawing. When we turn it off to reset it, the freezer temp shows as 31 degrees. It does then work, but why does it malfunction in the first place? Also, no handles = marks all over the front,looks terrible, Do not buy.

    I'm re=posting this review because the one I posted yesterday is no longer being displayed. BEWARE. DON'T BUY SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS. For 4 months it worked fine. Today both freezer and refrigerator were warm although internal display said freezer was 0 and refrigerator was 35. After resetting power, the internal display said: Freezer 48 - Refrigerator 80. Everything is spoiled. To fix, Samsung had me shut off power for 5 minutes and after turning power back on it appears that it is now getting cold again but I was told it would take 2 hours. Meanwhile EVERYTHING IN REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER IS SPOILED. Samsung said if reset didn't solve the problem and service was going to be required, someone would show up on Monday.....4 days from now. So......I'm stuck with this refrigerator and must check periodically (daily? hourly?) to make sure the temps are correct. Plus EVERYTHING IN REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER IS SPOILED. I'll NEVER buy or recommend another Samsung product.

    AVOID SAMSUNG AVOID BEST BUY

    Fridge worked fine until just after the 1 year warranty expires. Now it shuts off periodically, which causes food to spoil. Cost to fix will be several hundred dollars (after paying $$ for consult visit). Don't be fooled by the "10 year warranty" sticker on the fridge, that only narrowly covers the inverter. In our case there was issue with CPU board, which caused the inverter to not work BUT that doesn't count because the actual inverter "isn't broken" it just doesn't work because of the CPU board. Both Samsung and Bestbuy will act like it is your fault for not paying for extra warranties and don't appear to expect their appliances will last for more than one year. Customer service is horrible. Be prepared to spend hours arguing with Best Buy as to whether a registered tech lives in the area or not, and have the same conversation over and over with their chatbots. I've talked to multiple fridge repair guys about Samsung, and they all say Samsung looks pretty and breaks easy!

    We’ve had this fridge for about a month now. It stops cooling about every 2 weeks. Called Samsung and they told me to unplug it and plug it back in. That works. For 2 weeks... luckily my fiancé are home to catch it every time it happens but who wants to reset their fridge every 2 weeks? For $1,400?! No thank you.

    Very elegant exterior. Well organized inside. After 3 weeks fridge started making noises ranging from gargling to huffing and puffing . Do not be deceived by exterior sleek appearance; quality doesn't match the look

    Don’t buy this product. We bought one and after 3 days the freezer stopped working. We received a new one and happened the same thing. After 7 days the freezer stopped working. I don’t know why Best Buy is selling this garbage.
