If you don’t, your freezer items will thaw- tough lesson to learn.

I don't have it hooked up to a water source but I just keep a bag of ice in the freezer for when we need it.

I have more than enough room on the inside for a variety of food choices and deep double drawers for freezing. I like the fact that it beeps when I leave the door open to long and I can also program features on my smart phone.
