Added this sound bar to my living room TV. Immediately improved the audio quality over the TV speakers. Isn't as immersive as the 5.1 in the media room, of course, but I have to say... the 2.5 DTS really sounds impressive. Setup was simple - my Samsung TV didn't have bluetooth so it wasn't as easy as it could have been, but an optical cable connection (combined with telling the TV to send volume controls to the optical channel) makes this a single remote setup. The subwoofer connected automatically and since it's wireless I can place it anywhere in the room.

The price was reasonable. Set up very easy. Purchased to bring TV sound into the room instead of behind the TV. Works very well and is inconspicuous.

This model was purchased specifically because of the sound connect capability with Samsung televisions. The sound quality is a significant upgrade from the Samsung TV sound speakers and it is linked to the Samsung TV such that a separate remote to control volume is not required. In this respect, it is better than all other speaker options on the market. While the sound is very good, it is not the equal of more expensive systems such as BOSE, but for the price it is a relative bargain and offers nice performance.

I wasn't excited about getting a sound bar. Purchased a new home and the moved my theater system to the basement. After about a week of not having quality sound on the main floor, I couldn't take it and started looking into sound bars. This was on sale, had solid reviews. I have always liked Samsung but never tried their stereo equipment before. I have to say I am impressed. Solid sound. Good range. Sub gives enough bass.

Its exactly what I needed it works well and the bluetooth is awesome wish was a bit louder tho but for under $150 i cant complain.

I bought the Samsung soundbar and subwoofer combo yesterday and the difference from this to the tv speakers is amazing. Just saw it went on sale today for $139, which is pretty much a steal for this device. Just wish I would have waited a day for the sale to save some more money. Watching the NFL game that was on, I could hear the announcers more clearly, the game sound was incredible. Hooked up my phone through Bluetooth and it worked perfectly and sounded even better.

Must-have! especially if you got a Samsung TV. Connects to my Samsung TV within seconds. I power ON my TV and its already connected to my soundbar (no need to power on my soundbar separately). Think of streaming music from your phone? No problem, switch to Bluetooth on your soundbar (really slick remote BTW) and you are all set! Sound quality - While it is NO 5.1 surround sound, it is archives quite a bit. Sound is well balanced, no crazy base here. Easy setup and looks neat!

Sound is very nice. The base works good. just would like to be able to control it with different remote.

I was looking for a basic speaker for my tv, bc the sound quality is pretty bad. I chose this one mainly because it was on sale and seemed like a pretty easy set-up. I am not a tech savvy person, but this was very easy for me to set up and the sound quality is great, especially for the price. I'm sure there are more expensive systems that would give you more theater quality sound, but this meets our needs and is 200%+ better than the tv sound alone.

I purchased this with my tv. I like the bluetooth part of it no wires and very easy to setup sound good the bass speaker is decent. The bass speaker is pretty small in comparison to my power sub for my surround but work well. the only thing i did not like is i could not control with sat remote or my t v remote, so i just the samsung remote also if you are using arc i was told the soundbar will not work because arc takes priority .

I got this because of an employee recommendation. It isn’t really necessary for me to use, so I often don’t, but it’s a fairly small sound bar with decent sound quality.

I like this sound Bar for TV very much especially for the price I paid . It's Bluetooth ready & connects to wifi very easily. It sounds very nice , I even listen to more expensive models in Bestbuy store and this 1 sound better than many that cost much more . Plus not only Great for TV but you can Bluetooth music from your phone or computer, laptop. I got on sale to boot b4 Christmas. For the price it couldn't be beat.....

Bought this as a gift for my dad at Christmas. Set up was a breeze, power, optical cable and boooom done. The subwoofer synced with the system without me touching the button on back of it. The sound that this little bar puts out feels huge! Nice clean sound effects, gives a surround sound effect even though it's just a sound bar. We watched a action movie with it and it was fantastic. Installed on a at&t u verse system with no problems.

Paired this unit with a new Samsung 32" smart tv the wife purchased for our dining room. The tv replaced an Insignia of the same brand but much older. The speakers on the Insignia were fine for watching while cooking or dining. The Samsung TV's stock speakers were like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber's display of the most annoying sound in the world. Just plain bad. This set is mounted on the wall, so, in Samsungs's defense, maybe they intended them to sound good when the tv was placed on a flat surface. We added this unit, used the included wall-mounting hardware which included a very usable template for proper hole placement. Very simple to install, using the included optical cable. Included power supply/brick was long enough to run the wires thru my wall. Included wireless sub is very lightweight, unobtrusive and very effective. The display on the sound bar is very nice and easy to read. Unit sounds great and is a large improvement over the stock speakers. -1 star: I removed a star because it's a total bummer that I paired this with a new Samsung TV and it doesn't just automatically see the sound bar and default to that output. Even while following directions to the letter, I had to cave in and just use the digital in (D.IN) setting on the sound bar. This adds another remote to the pile. You have to use 2 remotes, one for the TV and one for the sound bar. It's 2017 people. This stuff should be plug and play. The volume on the TV should work the volume on the sound bar. So, yes. I removed a star for that.

I was looking for something to provide better sound than the built-in speakers in my 65" Samsung TV (Model: UN65KU6500FXZA). I wasn't looking for movie theater sound, just better quality than what came with the TV. These speakers were very easy to set up with my TV and the sound quality suits my needs. I also bought the Samsung - 160 Watts Wireless Rear Loudspeakers (Pair) - Black when I made the purchase.

I picked this up just to add some sound depth over using the base TV speakers. I must say the setup and ease of use is great. I had not purchased a soundbar before so I bought one on the lower end cost wise. Overall, it works great but I would say based on its power it would be ideal for a bedroom instead of a larger room. So I'll likely move this to my other TV and go snag one with a bit more juice for my common room.

I bought this sound bar for the tv in my bedroom. The tv speakers lacked volume and sounded tinny when turned up load. This soundbar made a huge difference by filling my bedroom with a higher quality sound and much better base. Its not room rocking or earth shaking but it did what I needed for my 55" Panasonic tv in my bedroom. I am very satisfied with this entry level sound bar

System has a good sound and good bass, but is very quiet, even in our small living room. We had a movie day with friends and several times we had to turn it up all the way. Easy setup and it looks nice. Not a bad system if you can get it on sale and you have a very small room that you plan to use this in.

We are enjoying the sound bar. It has great sound and bass for the price.

I got this open box for ~50% off, even though it was unused. It's really a decent sound bar, as far as these things go. The only reason that I don't give it 5 stars is because it has nothing to really make it stand out from the crowd. Oh, also, sometimes it will randomly switch to Bluetooth mode and start picking up neighbors' phones or TVs intermittently. This inevitably happens at night when I'm home alone and the lights are all off. Other than that, it's a great sound bar. Couldn't be happier with it.
