    Paired this with my Samsung TV, Setup was unbelievable easy and it sounds wonderful. The remotes were easy to sync. Nice and loud when you want it to be. Quiet and clear when you need that. Impressed. Had for 5 weeks at the time of this review.

    I purchased this for my living room. Great quality Especially how easy the set up is and compatibility with my Samsung tv I really like this unit, but thinking of upgrading for the 5 piece set with the extra two speakers This unit will be moved to my master bedroom

    I purchased this sound bar on 2/10/2021. I'm just now writing my review. This sound bar is all around great price, great sound, great size and easy to install! The sound goes really loud! I don't need additional speakers. When I have my parties or get togethers, its just like dancing in a club! I am so glad I bought this sound bar!

    This is a good deal on a cheap mid-range soundbar and bass. I also listened the HW-T550 version which my mother purchased and it does sound a little better. More range. It may be worth it for some to spend a little more for the HW-T550. But this HW-T450 version works really good for the sale price. TV has never sounded so good. This is the first sound bar I've ever gotten. I also play Spotify on the Roku app and it sounds great. Even turned up really loud with a lot of bass...Sounds great. I mean it's not the best audiophile sound in the world... But it's so much better than the TV standard speakers that I'm very pleased. Remember to completely turn off your TV speakers sound in the settings menu so that they aren't playing at the same time. Also I recommend you use the mounting brackets so that it's not resting on a table because it sounds better when it's mounted to the wall not touching anything else. I got this as a used open box item and no problems whatsoever. I would highly recommend for people to get whatever soundbar works for them, for improved TV sound. It's quite a difference to have quality sound.

    Needed a sound system for my patio, so that meant not the most expensive equipment since it’s outdoors (covered). This has fulfilled my expectations. Used UE Boom (x2) prior, good but not compared to this system. Not rated for outdoors so be careful. But the sound is crisp and the base is perfect. Not overpowering but accompanies the music. Have my bass on +6 and it thumps. The wireless sub is awesome, no wires, no interference issues. With the Bluetooth I can change the music and volume from my phone in the pool. God forbid the rain blows sideways and ruins this one, I’m buying. And the Bluetooth range is good.

    I'm glad I purchased this along with the Samsung - 65" Class 7 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV. It really improved the sound from the TV alone. However, I decided to pair it with the Samsung - Wireless Rear Loudspeakers - Black and that really made the difference. If you're looking for that movie theatre experience, I recommend you doing the same.

    This is my first Soundbar and subwoofer and I am not disappointed in the least. When I play games, WHOA, the booms and bass is deep. It may be because its in my bedroom. Movies sound really awesome. Im not an audiophile so I wouldn't know which to buy, all I know is that this soundbar works for me.

    Accept that the inputs on this model are what they are, and you'll have no complaints. For my use, Bluetooth is perfect. I have zero issues with dropped connections or interference like I did with a cheaper BT system I had setup. It sounds great, and the sub does an excellent job of drowning out my neighbor's horrific snoring every night. I cannot wait to add the rear speakers and expand to 5.1 with this system. The remote is key to making this easy. I've got my soundbar tucked under my ultrawide monitor, you might not even notice it in my pic. I really think if you're in a budget or just don't need an arena sized and powered sound system, you'll be extremely happy with this setup.

    The sound bar is what we needed. But, I must say I was disappointed that the boom box came with a damaged on the back wood part. It seems this item was a return from another customer. I would’ve rather have item check at the store before taking it out the store.

    Doesn’t pack much of a punch. Sounds nice but obviously you need a bigger unit if you enjoy movie cinema sound.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-T450 Soundbar and for your review. I am very sorry that you are not completely happy with the volume of your soundbar. Simply changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM can help. You may want to try changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM.

      This can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)

      If your Digital Output Audio Format isn't set to PCM, like for instance if you have a Dolby option selected, then you will likely notice decreased maximum volume. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 5.1 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.

      If you don't have a surround system, you will probably want to select PCM. You'll get much louder volume that way, and potentially better sound quality.

      You can also try manually optimizing your settings by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, SMART, or DRC.

      You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).

    I opted for this sound sound bar and sub because my brother had a Samsung that was amazing but it was cheaper and had lower sound capability, or so I thought. I got this also with rear speakers and I gotta tell you this is just terrible compared to the older set up, and it’s not the tv cause I bought a brand new QLED 43” Samsung. From 50 there’s to real difference to 100, I could probably get a pair of Bose headphones and it’d sound the same, real disappointed.

    Soundbar looses connectivity constantly causing me to hard reset at which point it will masgixlt reconnect. I hate this sound bar. Save your money.

      Hi RohrmanT,

      I am very sorry to see that you are having connection issues between the soundbar and TV. If you are connecting wirelessly via Bluetooth, please follow these steps:

      1) Press the PAIR button on the remote to enter BT PAIRING mode
      a. or press the SOURCE button on the top panel and then select BT. “BT” changes to “BT PAIRING” in a few seconds automatically or changes to “BT READY” if there is a connect record.
      b. When BT READY appears, press and hold the SOURCE button on the top panel of the Soundbar for more than 5 seconds to display BT PAIRING.

      2) Select Bluetooth mode on the TV

      3) Select “[AV] Samsung Soundbar T4-Series” from the list on the TV’s screen. An available Soundbar is indicated with “Need Pairing” or “Paired” on the TV’s Bluetooth device list. To connect the TV to the Soundbar, select the message, and then establish a connection. - When the TV is connected, [TV Name] → “BT” appears on the Soundbar’s front display.

      4) You can now hear TV sound from the Soundbar.

      If the device fails to connect
      - If a previously connected Soundbar listing (e.g. “[AV] Samsung Soundbar T4-Series”) appears in the list, delete it.
      - Then repeat steps 1 through 3

      Once you have connected your soundbar for the first time, use the “BT READY” mode to reconnect.

      There are a few things you may want to check:

      1) The maximum wireless signal transmission distance is about 33 ft.
      2) If there is a wall between the sound bar and the subwoofer it may cause interference or not work at all depending on the material in the wall.
      3) If there is a device that uses the same wireless frequency (2.4 GHz) near the Soundbar, interference may cause some sound interruption.
      4) Check all of the sources on the soundbar. If the audio is dropping while watching TV it could be an issue with the broadcast.
      5) Also, please be sure you have the latest firmware update. You can update your firmware by using a USB device. You can find the update on the product page of your HW-T450 on the Samsung website.
