The sound is great. Unfortunately, the sound cannot be controlled easily from the sound bar remote. You can hold the detent down for 10 seconds or more before you notice even a small reduction in the volume level. This is a real issue when switching back and forth between OTA broadcasts and cable. When I switch from OTA to Netflix the sound is so loud that it no doubt disturbs the people in my adjoining condo. It takes me at least 30 seconds to reduce the volume down to an acceptable level. The opposite occurs going the other way. Also, if you push the volume button up or down for very long the sound bar goes to "mute". Like I said, the sound quality is quite good for something in this price range. Controlling the volume or the output of the woofer from the Samsung sound bar remote is difficult! I would not buy this unit again or recommend it to anyone.

Very good sound. Good base and fits just right in our area. Good price too. Easy to set up! Base can be a little crackly at times but not bad.

I picked this up as an addition to the Samsung ( 50" 7 Series) TV that I purchased at the same time. Easy to install, great sound and good variety of sound options. As well suited to music applications as cable TV, streaming or DVD/Blu-ray movies. An excellent value for well under $200.00.

Disappointed that the Bluetooth hookup does not work as advertised. Continued to lose connectivity. Went back and wired to the TV. Great sound.

For the price it is a good soundbar setup. The limited number of physical inputs are a bit of a let down but for the price I can understand why. The Bluetooth feature works great and is easy to set up as well. Sound quality is what I would expect with a 2.1 system at this price and that is good. I have no complaints to the quality of sound that is put out with this system. Having only Bluetooth and Optical (Digital) can be limiting but other than that I am happy with this sound bar, bought 2 of them.

Sound quality isn't bad. Volume range is pretty wide. It turns on automatically when connected to my Samsung TV. Not bad for the price.

We bought the Samsung HW-T-450 Soundbar so that my husband could hear the television without blasting the sound. He has hearing aids and a microphone, but the speakers in the tv were so poor that he still had to turn it up very loud. What a relief to now have the television turned down. The bass in the speaker is very nice, now overpowering, but still strong. The sound is very clear. The unit came with mounting brackets which made it very easy to mount on the wall. Overall, a very nice unit with great sound.

Works good but not the best in a large room even with add on surround sound speakers.

The sound on this system is amazing for the price, especially with the Sub woofer. My only issue is that I have problems connecting my phone with the Bluetooth sometimes. Other than that, it has been really awesome!

Awesome soumd quality! A few issues connecting to Bluetooth. A quick update and power off and on seemed to fix it.

awesome sound bar, easy to hook up but i have a samsung 65 inch tv and this is a samsung soundbar so they were obviously compatible. great sound and the bass makes you feel like your at the movies. very happy with this buy

I absolutely love this sound bar and subwoofer. It is well worth the money I payed for it. It has excellent Bass and the sound quality is awesome. This is a definite must buy if you're looking for good sound and bass for a price under $200.

Installed with my new 65" Samsung TV... easy setup with optical cable.. Bass is really great... room shaking sound.. much better than my 100 watt Pioneer Elite with Klipsch 5.1 speakers

I ordered this last minute when my outdoor speaker wouldn’t connect to my iPad for a movie night. At this price, what could go wrong? Well, it wouldn’t work well outdoors for movie night so I decided to put it in my spare bedroom that I converted into a home office. It works fantastic. It is so easy to connect to. And the sound is acceptable for the size of the room. For reference, the room is 12X12. I sat the sub woofer in a corner behind a chair. Just the right amount of boom. CAUTION: If you’re looking for a lot of noise or booms from action films, this is NOT what you’re looking for. I have a competitor in my family room downstairs (LG) and this doesn’t hold the light to it. And it was only $100 more than this one. This is definitely made for a smaller room. I wouldn’t want you to be disappointed. If you’re looking for a lot of noise in a larger room, consider something else. But if you’re looking for something to add just about the right amount of noise in a smaller setting, this is it!

This came with my samasung flat screen as a bundle . Originally I was looking for something for my LG and was concerned it wouldn’t work and have to return it. It was so easy to set up and works great! The sound is amazing!

I love it! Most definitely a great gift for a first time home buyer. Once it’s connected to your tv and you adjust the sound to your preference, real life home theater. An amazing gift!
