Customers are positive about the sound quality, easy setup, price, and bass of the 2.1-Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Audio. They appreciate the great sound system, especially for watching movies, and find the setup process incredibly easy. The price is considered reasonable for the value offered. Customers also enjoy the nice bass, which is suitable for high ceilings.
On the downside, customers are negative about the volume, connectivity, remote control, room size, and wall mount. Some feel that the volume is insufficient and not loud enough. Others would have preferred an HDMI connection. There are complaints about the remote control's sound mode not functioning properly. Additionally, a few customers believe the soundbar might be more suitable for smaller rooms with carpet. The lack of included wall mounting brackets is also mentioned as a drawback.

The sound quality is excellent. I have two Insignia soundbars with wireless sub woofers that I thought sounded pretty good, but this beats them hhands down. The only complaints I have are the cover on the remote is very hard to slide open. It is
that thatbb smooth with nothing to grip and doesn't slide easily. I honestly thought for a bit that some joker at the factory had glued it in place as a practical joke. The other complaint is the volume control. The instructions weren't real clear on how the switch functions so that was a little frustrating, but these complaints are minor when compared to the sound qualiy.

I bought this Samsung - 2.1 Ch 290W Sound Bar With Wireless Subwoofer Dolby Audio - Black on 12/16/20. I paired it to a brand new 65 inch Samsung Q70t and it was as seamless as could be. Both the TV and the Sound Bar hooked up through the HDMI ARC slot and they connected instantly including the subwoofer which connects through Bluetooth. It actually synched itself, I had nothing to do with it. The sound is amazing. I bought it for my girlfriend so she has nothing to do but turn on the TV and the Sound Bar connects by itself and is controlled by the TV remote if you want because they are the same as the Qled smart remote. The Base this woofer puts out is amazing for it's size. I have Denon receivers and B&W subwoofers that are 12 inch down-firing and of course this one does not compare that but the base coming out of these is incredible and I would recommend for Condo use and bedroom use. This Sound Bar setup is very very nice. The reviews on this site support this claim. The sound watching Netflix movies was very incredible for a 2.1 sound bar!

I purchased this, actually my wife did, for an early Christmas present. I'm glad I did not wait to open it until Christmas because the sound is great!
Even though I don't have a Samsung TV, the setup was simple. The subwoofer puts out wall-shaking bass and the sound bar itself has far above-average sound.

currently we have owned it for a rough 2 weeks. the sale assisted with the purchase decision and getting the wife approval. out of the box experience was smooth and connecting it was simple and easy, Samsung provided all the necessary cables to get you up and running within minutes. upon powering up the unit i started to test the unit.
a issue that we came across was that the unit needed to be at full volume to even get some decent sound.
(Note- using the optical cable in the box). make sure that you set Dolby digital (DD) or Dolby Digital Plus (DDP) on your TV instead of PCM audio. it makes a huge difference , it used to be at 70 to even get sound , now it only needs to be at 20 and its LOUD. if you are planning to use the sound bar for Bluetooth music, you will have to raise it a lot from my personal experience. it only has 2 sound modes (standard and surround).
the issues that we experienced may be unique to us, as many people hook the unit up to consoles or use HDMI instead. We just wanted more flexibility and allow all my devices to output the sound from the same source reason we opted for the Optical cable (SPDIF) . Consult the Manual that comes with your devices for troubleshooting steps.
We paired the soundbar with the hisense H6510G.

This was purchased on a preblack Friday deal and for the price it is unbeatable. This is the first sound bar I’ve purchased myself and it’s great. Excellent sound quality, loud, crisp, and relatively easy to use and set up. Highly recommend this product.

For the sale price of $129, you won't find much better. My TV's built-in speakers have terrible sound quality to the point that I have to use closed-captioning or subtitles to understand what people are saying on-screen. I don't have to do that with this sound bar anymore because all audio is now clear and easy to understand. For music streaming, it fills the room with rich, balanced sound. Movies sound great, especially explosions in action films, if you turn up the subwoofer to the max setting. It's not anything close to full surround sound but for $129, this system is fantastic. I'd hold off on paying full price and make sure you grab it on sale. Full price is probably a bit high for what the system can do. I am really, really happy with my purchase.

Decent sound and quality for the price. Also I live in a condo so didn’t want something that would disturb the neighbors, can crank it up and has good bass for music. Could’ve done with an HDMI connection though. Only uses optical cable or Bluetooth.

Wow, great system sound, extremely good price, and fast delivery. At first when I saw the packaging this sound bar came in I was disappointed because it didn't seem large enough to contain all the goodies that came in this package. Upon opening box I was still a little skeptical as the sound bar, and sub woofer looked much smaller than my last Samsung system, but once I connected everything and put on some intense jams at mid volume, the richness of sound coming out this unit astounded me it is unbelievable. It is like the technical engineering of this sound system took a quantum leap in premium sound quality reproductive excellence. I hope every music enthusiast will buy this system because you wont be disappointed. This is a great buy.

This is a very good sound unit for the price! It’s not a top tier unit, but packs enough punch for my living room TV and has good sound quality. We bought a Samsung Q60T smart 4K TV and the sound on it was honestly disappointing. My old Samsung TV of 12 years sounded better. So we bought this sound bar to give the TV a boost and it definitely helped. If you’re looking for professional grade sound, might want to spend a lot more, but this is an awesome option for those on a budget.

I was looking for a sound bar for my TV in the living room. It's not the main TV I watch movies on, which is downstairs, but I wanted better sound for the living room TV which I watch every day for news and other programs. I bought this sound bar, and so far I'm happy with it. Look, for the price, it sounds very good. You get what you pay for. I don't understand the people who leave bad reviews because they claim it doesn't sound good and all that stuff, but what are they expecting for sound from something that's $140? If you want better sound, then buy a better set up. I have a $2500 audio set up in my basement. Of course it sounds better. But for $140, this sound bar sounds just fine for me. It's a huge improvement over the TV speakers, and that was my main objective.

I purchased this sound bar during the Black Friday sale. I was extremely pleased with the amount that I paid for the sound bar. The sound bar was extremely easy to setup. It provides great sound in our game room/loft area. I thought that my tv put out a pretty good sound without the sound bar, but this sound bar takes the sound in my room to a whole new level. The bass from the subwoofer gives my room a huge punch especially when watching movies. The only negative that I have experienced so far is getting a seamless sync with the video from my tv and the sound bar. There is a very slight delay between the video and the sound bar.

Very good sound for the price. It doesn't have a lot of options or features but it sounds great which is hard to find at this price. You can also expand it to create true 4.1 surround sound with an additional adapter that connects wireless to the soundbar and then wires to the two rear speakers greatly simplifying setup as you don't have to run wires under the rugs or baseboards to get sounds to the rear speakers

The set up could not be any easier and the directions are straight forward. Even though I will not be using it on higher volumes, it can get pretty loud if you are looking for that. But not only can it get loud, but it projects sound with great clarity. Even on lower volumes, this sound bar is pleasing. The subwoofer is an added bonus that heightens the experience. I would suggest this product, especially if you bought a new TV. Having sound directed towards the viewer is so much nicer than relying upon TV speakers that are probably facing the wall and/or very small.

The sub is pretty good, no issues there. I like that it’s as simple as plugging things in and it’s ready. My only issue with the speaker itself is that it’s not as loud as I’d like/expected it to be

Sounds great and it's a awesome improvement over flat panel TVs sound systems. This was a great upgrade as the wife did not want a massive system in the living room. When paired with the wireless rear speakers it was an excellent choice for surround sound effects and a good punchy little subwoofer that really adds to action scenes and it has hardly any noticeable visual impact on the wife's decor.
