Thank you for purchasing the HW-A430 Soundbar. I am sorry that the provided remote has caused a bit of confusion when in use.
The volume and channel buttons are meant to be pushed forward or pulled backward to increase or decrease the volume/channels. If you press in on the button it will mute the volume or pull up the provided channel guide.

Very nice deal and I'm glad I decided on a sound bar with a subwoofer. Things to note: optical audio connection (and optical cable included). The soundbar lays with the logo facing the ceiling. The volume and sub buttons on the remote are push AND toggle (took me longer than I'd like to admit to realize that).

Decent sound but overall hit -n miss design.

There's NO LED indicator on this soundbar...the sub woofer only has one LED and it's only to indicate when it's connected to the soundbar. When the soundbar is on, there's no LED...no LED for voume up/down or input change. I have a 8 yr old Yamaha soundbar that had full LED indicators. I've owned this for 4 months and remote no longer works. I worked with tech support, send the unit in to Samsung ..they said it works fine...send it back and same issue. As of now, I'm just going to get by and see if I see any specials from Yahama .. Samsung: Please put LED indicators on the soundar. It's 2023 and people now take cruise trips to Mars and outer space and ya can't even put a LED indicator on the unit. Stop being so frugal for being a worldwide company.
