I did not purchase this on Black Friday but I still believe I got a very good deal. doing some searching this is a model is from 2021. Overall, I’m very pleased. It’s so much better than the TV speakers in ky 70 inch Samsung. I replaced the Best Buy brand surround sound i had previously.  for me there is about half a second or less delay between the TV and the  speakers. This could be because I’m still using my Roku device since everything is on it and that could be the cause I saw there is supposedly a way to fix it. I’ll have to explore . I had some issues with the Bluetooth. It was a bit of a challenge with the subwoofer connecting. I  had to disconnect  the sound bar from the TV first then connect to the sound bar to the subwoofer then connected to the TV. If anyone has issues connecting, try this first and see if it works. I have the subwoofer  on the other side of the living room 15 feet apart or more no problem I’ll play around with a little bit and maybe move it around to a different area but overall I’m very pleased with that. I’m glad I got it for the price I don’t think it could beat it. Its a great pair witthe new tv.

Unless you sync it via Bluetooth with the tv then you can use the tv remote for the volume

Samsung Sound Bar

It matched up with our Samsung TV purchased in December. We can hear the TV now as it was hard without the sound bar. The size of the bar is a nice size. Not so overly large like the previous sound bar we bought 10 years ago. We were able to hook it up without involving the Geek Squad. We had a left over optic cable, not sure where that fits in, but the sound bar works so that's good enough. We bought it on a special sale so the price was great!

Thank you for sharing your review of the Samsung HW-A430. We appreciate your feedback regarding the audio performance of your soundbar.
This soundbar features a powerful wireless subwoofer, as well as Bass Boost mode to instantly amplify the bass with a touch of a button. You can try manually optimizing your settings by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, or BASS BOOST.
You can further adjust TREBLE via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).
There are two additional adjustments that can be made for bass and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics. With the sound mode set to Standard, press, and hold the Sound Control button for about 5 seconds. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons.
