I actually got it on sale during memorial day. I'm happy with it. This is my first soundbar and subwoofer,so, this is all new to me but i can tell a big difference from just using the tv speaker to pairing the soundbar and subwoofer. I don't think i can ever go back to just using the tv speaker

For a simple sound bar that easily connects to tv it works great. Perfect for an apartment or bedroom. We put this in our bedroom and no issues. Have a bigger 5 channel Samsung for the living room.

Not powerful and doesn't produce much sound!

This was way too soft for my mom to hear. I bought this to put on her bedroom TV which was a brand new Vizio TV to help her hear better and it was softer than the speakers on the Vizio TV, even turned up at full volume and all the other settings are correct. I know what I'm doing and I've worked with audio for decades in a professional capacity so it's not user error. With the audio output set to fixed in the settings on the Vizio TV, which is how it's supposed to be set to use an external soundbar and the speakers on the TV turned off and 100% of the full optical audio output coming through the optical audio cable into the Samsung unit and the Samsung unit at full volume, the volume was softer than the TV speakers by themselves. I did a test with my mother sitting in the room and she did not know which was which but I asked her which one she could hear better and she obviously picked the Vizio speakers, which weren't an overall balanced equalized audio quality, however it was much easier for to hear because it was louder. The overall audio quality and equalization settings that were available on the Samsung soundbar were good but the overall output of the system is very low. Do not buy it if you want powerful sound, because I wouldn't even consider it loud and I have normal hearing. I would have expected this thing to have blown us out of the bedroom and had it at 50%, but we had it at 100% and it wasn't even as loud as the built-in speakers on the Vizio TV.
