The Samsung soundbar was extremely easy and intuitive to setup. My bedroom was filled with fuller, richer sound not 7 minutes after I removed the equipment from the box. I'm going to equip a guest bedroom with the same soundbar next week.

Great sounds and bass you can FEEL! I was a little skeptical at first because of it being an open box product. But after setting up the system I was immediately BLOWN away buy the quality of the sound. Great purchase.

Fantastic! We set it up immediately (If you have trouble see if you need the HDMI or the HDMI AND the other cord that comes with it). We've never heard bass like this! No way we will ever not use this product in the future.

I got this combo NEW for around $200 on sale. No major issues at all. Great sound and bass, even better when you add the *separately sold* rear surround speakers. But buyer beware of those separate speakers, it took a lot of time and frustration to figure out how it really is to get them to be louder than "out of the box" volumes. My solution, for anyone who may come across this, the SWA-8500s will always be too quiet until you switch your tv's audio from standard/stock output to PCM audio output. Also, they still won't be as loud as you'd expect/want them to be, but still an improvement. Good luck.

It was easy to install and has a nice sound quality. It cannot be used "with" the speakers that are on the TV because an echo will occur, but the sound quality using just the sound bar and subwoofer is great. It can also be controlled with my Samsung TV remote, which is nice.

I have been in live since I purchased. It has a great quality of sound and gets very loud. I have it connected to my tv and love the surround sound with many shows. It also doesn’t take up a ton of space. All around a great system!

This speaker system was bought for my teenage son for a Christmas present. He was Abe to hook it up himself and loves it! He not only uses it for TV but also for his music in his room now. The sound is terrific!

Love this thing for my audio to my pc. The volume and bass controls make it seem like your at a movie theater. My only issue is when it’s Bluetooth It can be very choppy sole days and ruin the experience. Other than that it is a great product to have

5 stars for what it is...if you're looking for high-end home theater sound this probably isn't for you. If you're looking to upgrade your tiny speakers on a flat screen TV, then it's a good deal. Got mine on sale, so it was a good pickup. There is a huge improvement in the sound and it was a breeze to connect to the TV. It can be controlled with our Samsung TV remote, and also with our cable TV remote. It does take some tweaking to get the sound you want but I imagine that's typical for any sound bar. If you can get it on sale, it's a great value. Our TV is actually a little too big for what it's sitting on, so the only place we could put the sound bar was right in front of the TV on the stand. it's a low enough profile to work for us.

The TV needed a boost. We chose to this soundbar combo as a middle ground. Price was right. Works with Samsung TV remote. Bonus...don't need to have multiple remotes to work the TV and Sound bar. Definitely would recommend.

At first I thought I had a faulty product because of the sound that was being given off. Little did I realize that I had forgotten to connect the subwoofer. What's the subwoofer was connected, it was game over!

This new Soundbar matches greatly with my Samsung TV. Connected with ease, the sound quality was great right out of the box. No further adjustments were needed once connected via bluetooth.

Simple to set up. Kinda disappointed in the amount of bass coming through at first until I tried setting my Dish TV remote volume to zero and just using the soundbar remote only for the volume and it's fine.

Actually purchased this model because the Sonos soundbar I purchased didn't work with 5Ghz wifi. I thought I was downgrading, however this system worked out amazingly. Sound is great.

I was able to pick it up at a decent discount, and it far outperforms my expectations at that price point.. Reviewed with original price point in mind: Bass is really nice, however tends to over power any vocal-mod range (even when “tweaked”) Interface as is: lackluster at price point, when connected to a Samsung compatible TV fairly simple (wife enjoys one remote function, I enjoy the depth my tv allows me to “tweak” sound) however there are better performers in this price range Music sounds outstanding, no negatives although you might be able to play with 5.1 or better at this price point Overall solid performer, looks great with Samsung TV, GAME MODE*

Amazing soundbar from Samsung! I thought I would use this primarily for movies and sports but I now use it full time anytime the TV is on. HDMI and optical digital inputs provides more versatility over other models I was browsing. 4 modes of audio-standard, game, surround, and DTSx also means you can tailor different soundscapes for different sources. Bluetooth streaming means i can stream music from my phone and, paired with the DTSx feature, the music just dances throughout the room in a pseudo-surround effect. Best purchase I've made in a long time.

Wanted to improve the sound in a sunroom TV setup that I had. I purchased this to connect to an 8 year old TV and once I figured out the optical cable was the best way to connect it works great.

This was absolutely a steal especially that it was on sale. I’ve got a small room and this surrounds the whole room with great sound. The quality is great that I don’t even want to use the tv speakers any more.

Easy setup and pairing with other devices. Nice, smooth sound from soundbard and deep bass from subwoofer. Especially awesome once paired with Samsung's wireless-bluetooth rear speakers.

This is a great starter soundbar! It is definitely a huge difference between this and TV speakers!! It has a nice sound to it but if you are looking for a more fuller sound, I would recommend going 1 or 2 steps up with the T650 or the Q60T soundbar
