I did have an issue about a month into use where I got buzzing and distorted sound, apparently it is blue tooth related. I used a hdmi cable and problem solved. I am rather disappointed about the extra wire now, bluetooth pairing was great. I don't have anything to interfere with that signal, so I could not figure out a different solution using bluetooth but at least cabling was fast and worked great.

Very subpar this Samsung T-550

The remote control is just wrong , trouble connecting the subwoofer. No 3.5 jack input , not apple friendly. Just buy the upgraded model and you should be fine. I’ll think I’ll pass on Samsung for few years there is an old adage that we all know. You get what you pay for . Pull that extra 20’ and buy the next upgraded Samsung model .

Thank you for your review of the HW-T550 Soundbar. Your feedback regarding the remote and design is appreciated and will be shared with our teams.
Your soundbar and subwoofer should connect automatically when they are turned on, but you can also connect manually just as easily. When both soundbar and subwoofer are both plugged in, they should begin to connect automatically. When the subwoofer is completely connected, the blue LED LINK indicator on the subwoofer stops blinking and glows continuously. If the blue LED does not stop blinking, the process has failed.
For manual connection, after both soundbar and subwoofer are plugged in to a wall outlet, use a small pointed object to press the ID SET button on the back of the subwoofer. Continue holding until STANDBY turns of and LINK (blue LED) blinks quickly. While the soundbar is turned off, press and hold MUTE on the remote. Continue holding until ID SET appears on the soundbar display. To finalize the connection, turn on the soundbar while the subwoofer’s blue LED blinks. When the two are connected, the blue LED should stop blinking and glow continuously.
