I love this fridge, can control it with smart phone, good lookin', showcase door is great for grabbing a quick drink.

I like my new counter depth Refrigerator withe open door ice and water , with show case door items are easy to reach.

In general my wife and are mostly happy with this purchase (4 months so far). I have to admit that we didn't care about the door in door feature, but I use it constantly and it is quite convenient. From the reviews that I read, I saw complaints about the ice maker and the fridge running being noisy. We have found that if you change back and forth between crushed and cubed ice, it will jam. I was able to fix this myself without too much trouble and we just haven't switched back to crushed ice and it has never gotten stuck again. But we made sure to buy the Geek Squad coverage just in case because I read all the horrible reviews of samsung customer service. Second complaint was that it was noisy, which I don't find to be particularly true. It is a weird hum when it runs, but once we've adjusted to it, it certainly isn't a big deal. We like it in general and the kids like that they can get to their stuff quickly on the bottom shelf.

Just the right size for my townhome. Plenty of space, works great and love the door in door feature. No complaints.

I’ve had this refrigerator for a little over two years now. I get slot of compliments on it. Make sure to watch your fridge temp because produce can easily freeze. Like the other appliances in this finish, it scratches easily.

Ok, So we bought this fridge for two reasons. One that it had the showcase door and two because it was counter depth. That being said, we absolutely love the showcase door. It took some time for us all to get use to the strange way to open it, but after a week, we all were used to it, pretty much. The second reason we bought the fridge was because we needed one that was counter depth and didn't stick out too much. This one DOES stick out still. A good 6 inches or so from cabinet depth. So it was somewhat disappointing for that fact. The other weird thing i'll point out is that the freezer is icing up and we keep having to adjust the temperature on it. Ice crystals keep forming all over and I'm hopeful we'll get the right temp here soon (0 degrees currently) Other than that we love it.

We enjoy the convenience of having the "Showcase" door where all the daily items you use most can be stored.

Love it's easy ability to get most used items quickly! Also love how easy it is to keep food organized!

We spent weeks (because we had time before closing on our house) reading reviews and ratings. We love it! So far no issues at all! And the outer door that we can open to retrieve things in the door without opening up the whole door and letting out all that cold air is amazing! The ice in the door works great and again no issues!

Fridge appears well constructed (though I've had problems with other Samsung models in recent years-- ice maker died 1 week out of warranty, LED display and controls blanked out... regularly, etc.), but after a month, we haven't yet experienced any problems of note. As for design, the outer door thing for the refrigerator side is both a silly gadget (can't we all just open the regular fridge door when we want something?), but it's also counter-intuitive. The natural position of the hand when you want to open a fridge door is just like you'd be shaking a person's hand-- extended forward perpendicular to the body. For a 6' tall person, that's about 42" high. However, if you put your hand at this level and try to open the door, all you get is the silly outer door to open. If you want something from the real fridge, you need to raise your hand to at least 52" in the air just to engage the "open the real fridge door" mechanism (yes, well over 4' high... that may not seem like much, but just mimic the movement and you'll see that it's ridiculously unnatural, and shorter people are practically high-fiving at that point). Anything lower and all you get is access to the butter, mustard, and all that other garbage you store in your fridge door. The mechanism should have been exactly opposite... NORMAL reach for normal access, exaggerated reach for special access. That's the most basic human factors/ergonomics rule there is... and Samsung got it wrong.

The refrigerator is large enough for our family yet because of counter depth fits nicely in our small space

My kitchen needs counter depth refrigerator. Among many products in this category, this was the one with the best design with reasonable cost, and showcase is quite convenient and maybe energy saving. Samsung extended warranty to 10-years for costly parts.

So happy with my purchase. This fridge has great features. I love the showcase door for quick access to condiments and dairy without having to open the whole door and let all the cold out. I absolutely love the finish of the stainless - NO fingerprints whatsoever! Great product!

I just got the refrigerator, and I am very pleased with it. The showcase door works perfect for me.

Liked the refrigerator. Since we moved the old one to Garage, we bought the counter-top model thus freeing more space between the fridge and the kitchen island. Showcase feature is awesome and ice maker makes ice very quickly. I still am not able to use the Samsung app coz the fridge fails to connect the wifi through the wireless access point. Hopefully it will last a long time.

My daughter is building a new home and the kitchen design dictated that she have a counter deep fridge. Of course that limits the size of the fridge and we looked for 3 mos to find one that would provide the optimum storage space. The inside design of this fridge is excellent, utilizing all possible space. The ice maker is hidden in the door. My current fridge is made by Samsung and I am sure my daughter will be just as happy with this one. Just a note though...….always buy the extended warranty offered by Best Buy. Samsung does not have a good reputation with customer service. In the event you do have a problem, Best Buy geek squad will be there from day one.
