This refrigerator is perfect size for family of 4. Integrated handles and showcase door is totally ease of use. Big freezer with some bio technology keeps food fresh for days. Last but not least the looks are just awesome. 100% recommended.

My favorite feature has become the showcase door access. Didn't think I would use it as much as I now do. I've moved all my common items to the front for quick and easy access. Keeps the cool air in also. Overall quality is great. Lots of visibility to find items.

Very happy with this product and design, it will waste minimum energy, so compressor can last long, also is very quiet, hardly you notice it's running, about 40 -43db noise level.

We searched for quite some time and came up this little beauty and then continued to search. Came back to it twice and finally bought it... along with other appliances. Pro: Counter depth and just the right height for our older kitchen. For it's size can hold a considerable amount of food and drink. We just love the 'ShowCase' feature with 'Metal Cooling' pantry like door. CON" the icemaker is quite slow when making a new batch. The controls for the icemaker don't activate until you put your glass up under and push for ice. ............. / We love this refrigerator. Thank you BestBuy and Samsung. After reading reviews on several side by side refrigerator brands, I decided to spend a little more money and go with the Samsung counter depth model. My kitchen is configured in such a way that I cannot use a french door refrigerator. The new counter depth Samsung model gives me more pass through space between the counter and the refrigerator. A big improvement to the kitchen! Although the 21.5 cu. ft.capacity is somewhat smaller than my last 25.4 cu. ft refrigerator, it doesn't seem smaller. It is probably because of the nice configuration of the drawers and shelving. The shelves accessed through the showcase door atre not adjustable. I found that the gallon shelf would not accommodate our gallon tea pitcher, so I stuffed a piece of paper towel into the slot on each side for the shelf above, which raised the shelf up just enough to provide the space I needed. The exterior is just beautiful! I love that there are no handles, which makes for a slick streamlined appearance!

We did not plan on buying this particular Samsung frog but when we first saw it in the story we were impressed. We have had it home now for over a month and are still impressed. It is very well built. It seems that no small detail was overlooked. And we have checked its cooling with a separate thermometer and found it to be accurately and evenly cooled. Love the Showcase door. We use the feature much more than we thought we would.

Love this fridge. The double dual door in the refrigerator side is great with the outer door being very lightweight . I thought this might be a gimmick but after using it for a couple weeks, I couldn't imagine Not having this. Very convenient for getting the most frequently accessed items (soda, water bottles, butter, etc) without opening a heavy door and heating up the fridge. Ice maker works very well unlike many others which do not make a decent volume. I had a french door one before this and it produced very little ice. I am amazed at how fast this can produce cubes. My only issue with this, if I were designing the perfect fridge, would be that the doors not make the fridge wider when fully open. This is a counter depth fridge which is intended to provide a more "built in" look, so why would you design hinges that, when fully open, make the fridge wider than the opening it is going in. I have to be careful otherwise the door would hit the counter tops on the side and possibly dent the door panel. Hinges should be re-designed so that they turn inward or outward when opening them so that you don't run the risk of denting the panels. Other than that, this would have been 5 stars if the door hinges were better designed.

We needed a counter depth refrigerator, and discovered most stores have 3 or fewer on display. BestBuy was the only store in our area to have this particular refrigerator on display, but it was not in stock. We waited over a month for it to be ordered and delivered. Since our old refrigerator was still working, it was well worth the wait. This refrigerator seems to hold more than our old refrigerator. I love the ice maker in the door and the showcase feature. I am happy with the way the shelves are arranged and do not mind that the shelves cannot be adjusted. I rarely rearranged a shelf in any of our previous refrigerators.

The showcase door is amazing. Very easy to open and grab high use items. The only downfall is the ice maker is noisy.

The refrigerator looks great and runs very quiet. It has lots of space and nice lighting. The showcase door is great add on.

We purchased this refrigerator two months ago when we moved into our new home. I love that it is counter-depth because our island is pretty close to the counter. I am not a fan of stainless steel because of the smudging and fingerprints but it matches the rest of our kitchen. There is not a lot of storage inside which is to be expected in a counter-depth. We also love the showcase feature. We keep items that we need often (milk, cheese sticks, etc) in the showcase which is really convenient.

The refrigerator fit perfectly in my kitchen. The black stainless is exceptional - fingerprints either don't show or can barely be seen and wipe off easily. Control board is s little complicated but refrigerator works perfectly. Love the showcase door! Had a little trouble with the ice maker but was resolved with no further problems. Good buy!

I like to read negative reviews on products just as much as positive so that I know more or less what I am purchasing. Some of the negative reviews said it had bad tasting water/ice, noisy, doesn’t make enough ice, etc and although this had a pretty good rating it almost made me hesitate from buying. BUT, we purchased anyway and all the bad reviews were right! So why am I giving it 5 stars? That’s because if you don’t follow the instructions of clearing the water lines and disgarding a few batches of ice, you will get bad tasting water/ice. It’s noisy for the first evening (I guess it’s settling in) but for three weeks straight of having the product, it is quite as can be. Ice maker works great and makes more than enough. It’s sleek and its non-overly huge design fits well in my kitchen (doesn’t take up too much space). The showcase door makes it extremely easy to get what you need on the run - plus I have noticed that food is staying fresh for longer periods. I guess because the temperature doesn’t rise as often due to the showcase door. Overall, my wife is happy so I am happy too (great buy)!

We replaced a very large double-door refrigerator that gave good service but was showing its age with the Samsung Showcase 21.5 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth Side-by-Side finished in stainless steel. It fits in our smaller (but not galley) kitchen better than the white monolith it replaced, yet it seems to easily hold as much. It has performed flawlessly – to include the absolutely indispensable (for me) ice machine – from the day it was delivered. The showcase door, which provides access to items in the very front, or the interior fridge depending on where you grab the handle did take some getting used to but soon became second nature. It is a sleek and handsome bit of exterior design and the stainless steel finish successfully resists fingerprints but does need to be wiped down from time to time. I would unhesitatingly recommend this product.

We love the finish because it does not show hand mark easily, cleans easy and looks great. We also love the double doors it makes access to things we use often nice and easy without opening the whole refrigerator. For a counter depth refrigerator it has lots of room and makes it easy to organize everything. The leveling instructions are not the best but that is such a minor thing compared to the pluses. We would highly recommend this refrigerator.

Excellent refrigerator. The counter depth design of the showcase appliance is perfect for my kitchen setup. Love the showcase doors and the all the electronic functions are easy to use. Note the 21.5 Cu. Ft. size is below normal for comparable models and may be too small for a large family.

Refrigerator is perfect for the two of us, is built in to replace a defunct Sub Zero unit. We compare this new unit to the Sub Zero refrigerator, which would cost a whopping $8,000.00 to replace. Rating new Sub Zero 3 on a scale 1-10 ( 10 being best ) Samsung 10+. The "showcase door " is the greatest along w/two types of ice on the outside freezer door. Great job designing this unit Samsung.

This refrigerator is well designed. With a door that only opens the front section of the refrigerator as a showcase. It is excellent on conserving energy and easy access to daily needs. The water and ice maker are also efficient we had ice in no time. It looks like there is not enough space but once we stocked the refrigerator we had some leftover space. Good addition for our refrigerator needs.

Limited by our physical space in the kitchen for a fridge, this turned out to be an ideal solution size-wise. The showcase feature is somewhat gimmicky but does helps manage temp well during frequent trips for beverages/produce etc. The storage space is impressive for a counter depth fridge. The only drawback we've found is with the ice/water dispenser - there is quite a long delay for ice to be dispensed when the pedal is activated, and when it does it makes a noise like its really struggling to dispense ice. The water dispenses well but has an unavoidable few drips when your cup is removed that doesn't seem acceptable for a state of the art fridge in this price range.

So overall this is a great fridge for my family (our family size is 4 and we do stock up). The ability to organize and not have to dig is very nice. Shelves while fixed, do fit everything we buy. Don't worry about it not listing a deli drawer, we just use the top of the three doors that labeled fruits and vegetables, no problem with condensation or spoilage here. Love the dual evaporators food definitely keeps fresher longer. It barely runs, but when it does its super quite. Freezer has zero ice build up and stays clean easily. Kids & parents both love the show case to get quick drinks and condiments. Using a thermometer the temperature was the same on the door, as the back thanks to the metal cooling feature that actually cools from the door. Cream and dairy have not spoiled or got too warm on the door (showcase side). I had a hard time finding out whether you had to use the ice maker or not. Once I bought it, yes you can!. In the manual it states you can turn off the valve (yours not on the refrigerator) for the water line for extended periods, even recommended if you go on vacation. We had to do this since we are remodeling and needed a temporary location. The fridge has a very low space profile, had such a hard time finding a fridge that didn't stick out, especially so many have handles that stick out, with the handles built into the door it's perfect for are galley kitchen. Ok so everything has some sort of downfall, with the low profile comes a narrow freezer, don't expect to stack regular size frozen pizzas, if you need to put one in your gonna have to angle it and take up a whole shelf. It's not a problem here we never buy frozen, we only do take and bake, order out or homemade. One last thing, ours is stainless steel (sides aren't by the way) and the handle area needs to be cleaned frequently, we use stainless steel wipes. Its something we our use to, so again not a problem. Highly recommend , especially for small kitchens.
