I’m very disappointed with this fridge along with Samsung customer service. I’ve owned this fridge for less than three weeks and the ice maker has jammed multiple times. I have the ice maker set to cubed (I’ve never set it to crushed) and the ice comes out partially crushed (when it’s working). The ice also gets jammed and I have to remove the ice bucket to clear the jam. I tried getting Samsung to send a repairman out by opening a service ticket online as well as calling but they just put me on hold and basically tried to read the manual to me and make me prove to them that the ice maker is actually on. So they won’t send out a repairman and the ice still jams. Yesterday everything in the freezer was covered in frost so I’m thinking about returning this dud of a freezer if possible. No issues with the fridge side other than the placement of the door pull for the inner case seems a bit high.

Poor ice maker, and water system. Ice sends out mixture of cubed and crushed; water splashes everywhere. Would not recommend this fridge and regret the purchase.

Owned for 2 days and already have many issues. 1.) doesn't have magnetic front 2.) door closes but when it shuts leaves a little gap (refrigerator) meaning I have to physically PUSH it further closed to latch it. 3.) ice maker is pretty loud (but others said that too) 4.) door handles confuse guests (since they are only grabbable from one direction...and normal handles we are used to were able to grab with either left/right. 5.) having the fancy "2 doors" on the fridge also confuse people unfamiliar to the style. Immediate fam likes it tho. Otherwise we like it but thought others would like to know this.

Eh. It’s okay. Neat little gadgets. Functionality? Mediocre. Not exactly sure what the designers were thinking with the ice dispenser. Shoot clogs up and won’t dispense anything but a lot of noise from the motor. When it does dispense ice, the rotating mechanism has T-Rex arms and gives a whopping 2 ice cubes at a time. It’s really not all that, based on my time of owning it for a year. Definitely looking for another brand name

I was worried about buying a side by side door refrigerator because I thought the space would be limited on the frig side. But it's actually very roomy.

We have owned this refrigerator for a year and a half. It has been great no issues at all.

One more item to add to my previous review. Keep in mind the shelves do NOT have any lip on them so once you (or your spouse / kids) spills anything - or worse if a piece of meat accidentally leaks - then it goes all the way down to the fresh raw stuff. I'm researching for a solution and although I knew this when buying you should keep this in mind (it's a major design flaw that could have been easily fixed and would not detract from the aesthetics at all).

Overall, this is a great fridge and I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. My only complaint is it takes a while for the ice to dispense. Otherwise, the fridge is awesome. Very well designed, inside & out.

I bought this for my boyfriend's birthday and house warming gift. It is awesome. He loved it. Looks great and have no complaints with this product.

Bought this 1.5 years ago, initially was good, but after a few months of light usage, it make noise like high pitching running water all the time, very very loud. If we un-plug and plug it back, the noise goes away for a couple of weeks, then it comes back again. I am sure by now the warranty has run out. Even the cheapest fridge does not make such a loud noise. Wish I could return it. The noise is constant, it does not cycle off.

This refrigerator is very noisy compare to any other refrigerator that I had or seen before, very noisy compressor and also if I don't put stuff inside show cases those cases also will start making noise while refrigerator is working .one month ago there was another strange noise coming from refrigerator that I had to call Bestbuy for repair.

I purchased that four month ago, I got serious issue, I report that and after a week they couldn't get it fixed, and they want to change the compressor!!!, this is not acceptable.

less then 3 years old and already have a problem with Fridge part freezing everything.

This is the worst refrigerator that I've ever owned. The crisper drawer will not keep the produce fresh. Within one day they are wilted and soggy. The water dispensed through the door also has a refrigerator taste and there are ice crystals all inside the freezer. The only thing I can say for it is I like it being counter depth. Don't buy this refrigerator!

Bought this fridge in August 2014. Ice maker issues began in 2015. Samsung replaced the ice maker. i still have ice maker issues till this day. 2016, Samsung had to replace the main board on the fridge after it was restarting itself when getting water. Late 2016 more ice issues. I've had ice maker issues off and on with this fridge. Now in 2018, even after several resets, the fridge is not making ice for over a week now. Beware, do not but Samsung fridges. It's an utter piece of crap!

The ice maker stopped working and there's no repairing it. Samsuck!!

I purchased a Samsung side by side fridge and the ice maker broke after owniing it a 13 mos cost $400 to repair do not buy
