After several failed repair attempts and much discussion with Samsung, they finally relented in giving us store credit. We ordered this unit since we liked the connectivity of the Hub. Received the unit on a Tuesday, Hub was not connecting. Had to have another service visit by yet another 3rd party company who said they were unsure why Hub was not connecting. At that point we called store to ask unit to be picked up and we ordered a Kitchen Aid to be swapped out next week. The technology is pretty cool, and it seems like Samsung is only company who offers this. However, be warned that they have zero service personnel who can handle anything related to the Hub's technology and they contract our with 3rd parties for this as well as other repair issues. Dealing with Samsung is frustrating to say the least, they seem to run through their scripts, anything to avoid sending service techs to your door.

My only gripe is that now the software on the "Family Hub" screen displays ads for Amazon and for shopping related things. It feels very intrusive because it plays a loud chime whenever you close the door
